happens only with GFE installed, for games that are "supported" by it, the settings telemetry hangs in the service.
I noticed a good few degrees on my 5900X and also have not installed GFE. Playing Overwatch 2 my CPU was generally around the 55-60C range now its around 64-69C. I thought it was because I went back to Win10 and that it was using more CPU resources, then this issue was found. Reverted back to previous drivers around 1 hour ago and the temps are back to normal 55-60C.

I installed with NVcleanstall, all good here... has to be one of those 300 other files staying open... like GFE or shadow play or some shit

I don't have the issue, but I heavily remove all the junk from the driver as you can see.

It doesn't seem like it occurs on windows 11 😱 😳

https://tinypic.host/images/2023/03/07/asd.jpg Seems like this is a thing.I didn't even notice until I read this post. Kinda hard to notice on 36 cores because 5% doesn't really spin up the fans/pump.
What games were you playing, i don't want to be left out. 😀

The NVidia container service can be changed to "Manually" and is mostly only needed if you need to access the Nvidia control panel.

Haven't really played games in a few years. I use the pc to shoot ads inside of GTA V. It's pretty much all it does.

I think you can disable game settings "optimization" in GFE. I wonder if that fixes it.
