I wish they could do a 43-49" because I still want to use a desk.

Same here, maybe start at 27". I can imagine these 65" being mega expensive.

27 they just did, but also for 43"you need a HUUUGGEEE desk or a fish eye.

As a player of every DooM game in history I demand an unlock option for supporting G-Sync and FreeSync >>at the same time<< by entering "iddqd". :-P

It can be wall mounted above desk.

That would be perfect for my HTPC...too bad it will cost an arm and leg, IMO at least 3500$ and 4000€ at least...

I'm a little worried about these displays being obsolete in a matter of months. From what I read they don't feature HDR10+ or Dolby Vision and you cannot do GSync or 4K@120 over HDMI because they are not HDMI 2.1 It would also be nice if Nvidia supported its own 3D Vision 2 format.

Another luxury product from nVidia (like the Titan product line). Feels more like a marketing thing than something they hope to sell a lot of.

It's sad but i must agree.Obsolete in a very few months... Nvidia will use the same Shield TV 2015 (rebadged as 2017) chip i own since a couple of years in this TV/monitor and no HDMI 2.1, no DV, no HDR 10+. It could be a good time to launch a REAL upgraded Tegra X1/Shield TV chip with all these specs but it seems Nvidia don't think so.

Big monitor with GSync just screams overpriced...and price pummeling after less than 6 months. Also I can't imagine the input lag on these...not sure why people would need such a monitor for HTPC...there's much better choices for that (and you don't need 120hz).

What's the point of them releasing this if they won't release a solution to power it? Their titan xp or 1080ti can't handle this.

It makes sense that the monitor/TV specs are not maxed by a single GPU on launch: it will last more than a GPU cycle (hopefully) and you can always buy another Titan XP and use it in SLI.This monitor is for fat wallets only... 😀 And G-Sync adaptive sync should take care of inconsistent frame rate.

I'd be all over this like a rash but I need AMD to step up and do similar. I run everything through my Xbox (Netflix, Digital TV) and I'm sick to death of these half bakes Smart TV's. Other people use Firesticks etc. Have manufacturers not considered those who want a dumb TV? I'd love a 65" AMD Freesync dumb TV for my Xbox One S. Perfect match for my viewing habits.

I will just go with the 43 or maybe 49X900, e for lower price, f model for a bit better picture. Panel is 120hz, can do HDR and the f also supports DV. I don't care about gsync as the desktop will run at 1080/1440p depending on size, and games in 1440p and vsync, and the fact that its not running at native res, gives me some AA like effect without the performance hit.

Hang on............these don't have any form of normal HDR? So..............you can't play UHD bluray on them with HDR? You can't run the 2 main consoles with HDR or VFR? The Philips 43" UHD limited to 60hz is looking clever right now. It has been reviewed favourably against FALD screens for contrast and has NO light bleed, can use VFR with consoles and can be used with UHD bluray players for HDR. Oh and it is £680 on lamdatek.

I'm all set with that. I'm happy gaming 1080p 120hz 24" monitor

Actually no you can't. That's the whole point of my comment. Sli is practically dead.

It's going cost 7k+ minimum i'd say, the 27 inch version cost like 3k.

As far as I’ve seen any screen offered in these sizes are all limited to 4K @60hz, so won’t these be the first displays to offer such a thing at these sizes none the less with gsync!? I have seen quite a bit of devices and screens receive DV support after release, so who knows maybe these will eventually get a firmware update to support it, it definitely has the power and specs to support it, must be a licensing issue. Will see when they officially release where they fit in the market
