Will DLSS 3.0 support Ampere? If not then does that mean that games will need to implement both DLSS 2/3 or is like DX12 with feature support tiers?

What is the performance in this "mode" without DLSS3 and at full RAW RTRT?! That is what we really want to know.

No, it is stated in the DLSS 3.0 post from NVidia.

CD Projekt RED elevates Cyberpunk 2077's graphics to the next level, while Nvidia elevates graphics card prices to the next level. I guess that's perfect synergy?

Ampere will continue to support DLSS Super Sampling, even in games that implement DLSS 3.0. The new motion interpolation mode that actually generates new frames will require a 40-series card.

That's the price for non-checkerboard 4k and max RT.

I can't stand Cyberpunk's graphics tbh.

Thank you both

Ohhh so on top of upscaling is also creating fake frames, is that the boost?

GPU prices overdrive.

I still see no significant difference in most RTX applications. Ya, sometimes shadows look different, but that can and is baked already into existing games. I think most differences we see are done on purpose to try and justify the tech. We're probably still years away of real RTX, or for it to be meaningful in a way you could not live without it turned on.

Loss of details is really noticeable though, especially when riding a bike (antenna on the left) and other parts.

Shadows can be generated in real time though.

Hopefully they can stop baking within a few years though. It takes a tremendous amount of time and resources to fake what ray tracing is doing, wirh tons of reflection spheres, rebaking the whole scene when moving a tiny object etc.. ray tracing makes a lot more sense, and the sooner regular fake render can be ditched, the better. I expect to see a Raytraced only game within the next 3 years (rt required)

Users 1060 and laptops GPU greatly appreciate your input in this topic...

2077 will be the price of the 4090Ti

This update will most likely reduce performance for all non RTX 40 series GPUs lol Last update for this game was released this month, before it was March/April so not so ''knowing company last records'' 😛

That is the goal, to make performance so bad it's unplayable on older GPUs. It's the same stunt nvidia pulled when having developers use ungodly levels of tesselation.

Doubtful, but easy enough to test if true.

they could barely get the "next gen" console patch out so how are we to believe this let alone the absurdity of the "next gen claim"
