Yeah I didnt know anyone who had anything expensive on that list past a saturn (the last 3 are clearly wrongly placed). You must have been mega rich to get a neo geo or 3DO, i don't think ive even seen either of those two.

btw eurozone price is (for now) 329 Euro alone and 309.99 Euro special edit with Zelda (yes less expensive with Zelda ???).

I know someone that has everyone those systems and then some and payed an arm and leg for them... his game systems collection along with the games for them is most important thing to him. more so then his relationship he ruining cause of it and few other issue with my best friend. Some people priorities are off the rails. either way Nintendo's name nor is Mario and zelda something that will get me to buy Nintendo system, last 2 systems they made had maybe 3 games i wanted spanning the 2 systems and I anit buying a system such tiny list of games. forget about the fact i hated there gimmicky controllers.

Yep, inflation plus launch prices. Everyone is giving this shiite for being expensive at launch when in reality, it's not. What it is though, is expensive in comparison to the 2 consoles out right now. Though this is replacing the 3ds and wiiu at once (regardless of how much nintendo says it's not, at most expect a small screen version) edit, what I find amusing in this pc orientated forum, is that people will be happy to spend $400 on a gtx 1080 or whatever that they dont quite need but balk at $300 at a new console for exclusive games.

In portable mode, the Switch is likely just a bit more powerful than the Wii U, so I would agree it's a Wii U mobile. However, docked, I think it's around twice as powerful. Wii U Mario Kart is 720p60, Switch docked is 1080p60. Also, in 4 players, the Wii U runs at 30fps, while the Switch is still 60fps. I don't think it's as powerful as the Xbox one, though. However, as a portable, I think it's at least 10x more powerful than a PS Vita which would/will allow for some interesting games for such a platform. That's roughly around X360 level of performance in portable mode. Not bad tbh.
