basically the same score as a FuryX 🙁 how in the hell is this possible?

So C3 is prolly gonna be watercooled and clocked way higher, but without any OC headroom.

No. It is not. Now, as for those scores: Firestrike -> Shown 1200/700MHz indeed looks very similar to my Fury X score 1050/500MHz. That points there is something else going on. Timespy -> Shown 1600/1000MHz, and does nearly double to what my Fury X does. And that is believable considering changes in architecture. 1st result may be TDP limited test or something. Edit: BTW... 2048bit HBM2 @700MHz = 4096bit HBM1 @350MHz in bandwidth... So, that's what's going on.

Firestrike seems to get 10% better score than FuryX with a 20% higher clock than FuryX. So clock v clock it seems to be slower. Time Spy is 2x the score... clock v clock a 25% improvement over FuryX. Guess we'll just have to wait for it to come out.

No. Unless they simply made Fury X again 😀 But I doubt that. So take these as a huge grain of salt.

Just a troll, move along. Believing in early numbers and speculation is bad, we should wait for reviews.

I'm awaiting a BIG disappointment from AMD... and getting ready to splash my cash on 1080 Ti.

Yes indeed... nothing against leaks and all, but getting in heads over heals for something we won't see confirmed or not until the real card's around... I'm waiting for real, 3rd party reviews before I form my own opinion. 🙂

And that's exactly why I don't even want to think about such leaks any more, it gives too little information on what we're looking at (which will be final clocks, is the first lower benchmark an ES or a final chip downclocked, is the latter benchmark the most they could get out of the chip in terms of OC?). We know there's two benchmarks, which in my opinion don't line up (1200MHz performance vs 1600MHz), so it's kind of asking for trouble to debate those leaks. Better wait a few weeks and see what you get when you buy Vega.

Here you go:https://www.techpowerup.com/gpudb/2871/radeon-rx-vega From what I can gather is AMD is doing what it does best. Offer a solid performer, at a really competitive price. Looks like the Vega will come in between Gtx 1070 and Gtx 1080, closer to the 1080, in base performance.
