As always In-win is present at Computex, often with some concept designs and some sort of crowd pleaser. This year we can compact that towards two keywords, spheres and wood.

Okay, this actually is a fairly brilliant idea. Everybody likes wireless mouses, but hates charging them. Corsair is jumping on that. They have a concept development project that involves a mouse-pad with one to several Qi charging zones. It's the same technology on say a Galaxy S6/7/8 phone for wireless charging. 

There is lost to cover at Corsair, first off a couple of photos of the Corsair One.  And yes, 350 USD gaming chairs my man, they are certainly comfy though. 

A company that has always been around since like forever is BitFenix. In this post we'll have a peek as to what BitFenix has to offer, more after the break.

Over at the suite where Corsair has been presenting their goods I have been talking with the liquid cooling team. two things are going to happen, you will see new and improved Hydro series cooler (of course with a bit of LED bling) as well as complete copper nickle plated blocks and accessories.

Corsair is demoing quite some cool stuff which we'll cover in multiple news-items. The biggest and most prominent thing would be the in your face Curve and Slate concepts they have going in.

This year we have been testing a number of product from TeamGroup. In this news-item we’ll cover some of their new products.

8-core processors in a laptop. The top configuration comes with a Ryzen 7 1700 CPU based on the exact same silicon as current desktop parts. Variants of the laptop will also be available with the six-core Ryzen 5 1600 and the quad-core Ryzen 3 1200. Overclocking isn’t supported, though.

And offers all that at 200hz. The ROG Swift PG35VQ stretches its massive 35” diagonal across an ultra-wide 21:9 aspect ratio. It’s capable of refreshing at 200Hz and come with NVIDIA’s G-Sync technology (30 – 200Hz variable). PG35VQ an UQWHD (3,440 x 1,440) resolution.

Wednesday, a new day has Ryzen. This morning at 10am AMD held a press-conference in which they shared a things or two more about upcoming Ryzen Threadripper processors and platforms and of course AMD Radeon Rx VEGA.

The AMD press conference covered several topics mainly, Vega and of course everything Ryzen related from mobile to PC. In this news-item we’ll go a little deeper into the CPU part, aka Threadripper 16-core processors and their respective X300 series Chipset platform.

Cooler Master today launched its completed series of MasterFan Pro RGB alongside the Cooler Master Software control, a new thermal solution from Cooler Master released here at Computex.

At just 17.9 mm thick and 2.24 kg, the Zephryus is the thinnest ROG gaming laptop with up to an Intel Core i7-7700HQ processor and the latest NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 graphics. The CPU has quad Kaby Lake cores. 

Ballistix announced the availability of Ballistix Tactical Tracer DDR4 RGB memory. The new Tactical Tracer modules allow PC modders and gamers to light up their systems with RGB brilliance with the ability take control of their memory and colour scheme while providing the increased performance and stability they expect from Ballistix memory.

ASUS has a bit of an exclusive on their hands, they have been showing the X399 based AMD ROG Zenith Extreme motherboard. X399 platforms for AMDs High-end desktop platform, let's call them enthusiast class processors. These would be intended for the CPUs like we mentioned earlier today, the 16-core / 32-threaded parts. 

Cooler Master is set to release a new Cosmos chassis, the C700P as you will see in the photos below the fold is rather unique in its design. The casing upholds the traditional Cosmos look and feel, yet is modernized to the max.

I told you, we have lots to cover from Cooler Master, hence the separated news-items. The next stop is Coolers, power supplies and peripherals. And sufre, a bit of a UFO has been spotted as well!

Who remembers them, the HAF series? Both hated and loved for its looks. Well, Cooler Master is introducing the MasterCase H500P. Yes the naming changes, but when you look at the pictures you will recognize that HAF feel, look and them references.

Intel this summer will be releasing a new series of processor and accompanying motherboards. When you open your eyes and focus like a hawk here at Computex, you can stumble into some motherboards that actually are the new X299 platform.

Every year the brand DeepCool is getting a bit more popular. We have checked out their Captain series of LCS coolers, their Genome series chassis. But they struck gold with the tri-stellar series two years ago. Well, this time there is a quad-stellar!

This year we had setup a meeting with Colorful. The company is making some pretty awesome graphics cards and motherboards, yet is predominantly focused on the Asia region.

Power Supplies, cooling and chassis. Yes The BeQuiet! Subsidiary from listan is also present at this year’s Computex.

PowerColor hosted its meetings like they always do, behind closed doors in a meeting room. This year is all about the Radeon Rx 500 series from them. You have probably read our 570 and 580 Devil series reviews already. These they do have on display. 

In this item we'll move on over towards the booth of MSI, and we have some goods to show you. MSI as ever has big booth showcasing their hardware. There are lots of Series 200 motherboards on display and the focus seems to be the gaming lineup, also EK Aluminum cooled VGA cards and a very dandy Lighting when it is powered up.

Before our appointment with MSI, yesterday I jumped by the booth. There is a card that jumps out in design. Typically you all know the TwiNFrozr cooler series in just black/red. Well it appears a camo edition might be in the works.

Toshiba Adds the XG 5 M.2 NVMe SSD towards its high-performing line of M2 SSDs. The new 8cm based 2280 form-factor M2 SSD ties towars a x4 PCIe link, and when it needs that it'll be fast.

Gigabyte announces their X299 AORUS Gaming Series Motherboards. The new X299 has features like digital LEDs, triple M.2s, Fan Stop, and the newly released Optane Technology.

The next-gen of high-end desktops debuts at Computex 201, and Republic of Gamers (ROG) is there with three brand-new motherboards designed to help gamers and enthusiasts get the most out of their PCs. 

The developers over at DICE held their preview for the Battlefield 1 May Update yesterday and discussed the changes that players can expect to see in the upcoming patch. 
 

Corsair reveals two concept PC systems and a range of innovative new technologies, leading the way for the next generation of CORSAIR products. Unveiling Concept Slate, Concept Curve and a host of new RGB lighting and liquid cooling demos on its suite at The Grand Hyatt Hotel, (we'll take photos these tomorrow).

Corsair announced the new CORSAIR K68 mechanical gaming keyboard. The K68 uses 100% CHERRY MX LED-lit mechanical keyswitches, combining them with a per-key silicone rubber shield to make the K68 both dust and water resistant tested to an IP32 rating. 

ASRock certainly is ballsy, they figured they could show one X299 motherboard, but no, below the fold photos of the ASRock X299 Gaming K6, X299 Formula OC, X299-E ITX/AC, X299 Killer SLI/AC, X299 Professional Gaming i9.

Many expect Intel to answer AMDs 16-core processors with 12 maybe 14 core processors. Certainly not as they will be releasing an 18-core Skylake-X CPU, you better grab your life-savings in money. The processor would be called the Core i9-7980XE.

It is time for a couple of pre-computex scoops. First stop, check out the new MSI GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Lightning Z. Indeed, a Z editiion. The card will get high clocks, a Mystic LED treatement and quad-volatage options. The baseclock of the card will run 1582 MHz with a 1695 boost frequency.

Biostar also has a rather pretty looking X299 motherboard on display, this is the beautiful looking Racing X299 GT9.

You know, the one with that funky top side LCD screen. You guys can probably remember the iColor series and Vulcan edition graphics cards. That Vulcan series card actually have that small LCD display on top of the card. 

As stated Computex isn’t starting today, but there is a press conference to attend. Which would be ASUS with a generic series of announcements. In this topic their all new Zen and VivoBooks being announced today.

Hey now and welcome to the first, well semi-official report delivered to you all the way from Computex in Taiwan. As you have been able to read earlier our plane touched down yesterday, I teamed up with the guys from Cooler Master to travel half way around the world. We'll start off today with a couple of photo's of some of the surrounding of Computex.

The TAKU has been in development for over 2 Years in house, with over 6 months of co-development with manufacturing partner Lian Li.

We're in Taiwan, this week we’ll be covering one of the bigger technology exhibitions on this globe, the yearly Computex. This year we’ll be reporting from Taiwan in collaboration with Cooler Master, hence we’ll be having a few exclusives at hand as well, including a visit towards Cooler Master HQ here in Taipei. 

Okay, so like if you have a flashback to last year, possible. It is a new model though. PowerColor will display a new external graphics card solution on Computex. The new Devil Box based on AMD XConnect Technology will be named, Gaming Box.

We have not been able to catch this one on photo yet, but this is the PowerColor Radeon RX 560. It is part of the ‘Red Dragon’ series. The cost performance graphics card is configured with 1024 Stream Processors, a 128-bit memory interface, a core boost clock of 1180MHz and a 2GB of GDDR5 memory set @ 7000MHz.
