Well hopefully today we will get some answers. I personally stopped playing BF1 because of the rampant cheating. Very frustrating when you drop into a game take three steps and are killed thru a 10 foot thick wall etc. Doubt they have done anything about that in this release. And won't be purchasing this one either.https://content.pulse.ea.com/content/legacy/battlefield-portal/en_US/news/battlefield-1/how-to-watch-stream-of-battlefield-5-live-reveal/_jcr_content/body/image/renditions/rendition1.img.jpg

I personally find "modern" warfare games less immersive since there just aren't really any compelling modern wars to "fight". Pre-ww2 time-periods have less interesting weaponry to me. So WW2, to me, is the absolute butter zone for warfare games. Strong weaponry but still requires skill. Huge theaters of war across varied locations. Air, land and sea battles. History so thick you can smell it. I'm probably just weird that way. That said, I expect this to be more garbage from EA, a reskin of BF1 and nothing like the original, Battlefield 1942. That game was amazing. This game will just be.... meh.

I quit BF1 a few weeks after release. I tried it again and the updated version is far better. I would recommend anyone that made the mistake of buying it when it came out try it again. It is now a fun game. Also, consider the period when thinking of customizations available. They just started using tanks. I'm not sure anyone cared about putting bright orange stripes on them. I would think the skins offered in the battlepacks are not even period-accurate in any way.
