I hope they dont pull a SJW move. All that BS in BF1 killed the immersion of the game. People have alot of criticism about Call of duty WW2 but they did have a historical accurate campaign which was epic. The multiplayer you could customize your character. In BF1 you could have a custom decal on your tank big deal.

Battlefield 4 sure will be long lived, as the most recent (2013 lol) modern battlefield.

A twitch streamer and a longtime battlefield player by the name of Edgar is an EA investor. He played BF5 weeks ago and doesn't like it at all. The only nice thing he said about it is that the graphics have improved. Apparently the behemoths in BF1 are replaced by something even more gimmicky in BF5 and are used to avert attention from the lag. I must admit, I'm not nearly as excited for BF5 as I was for BF3 and 4. The new scoring system, battlepacks with skins and boosters only, the behemoths, the fog, and elite classes made BF1inferior to previous editions imo. I also wish DICE would design maps for specific game modes rather than shoehorn different game modes into the same maps. The latter doesn't work at all.

I was hoping it would be the next Bad Company game. We'll see how this turns out. Skipped BF1. Have been recently playing BF4 after a long break and it's still a great game.

I see with the character being British, and wearing goggles , possibly it matches up to British Tankers. Sadly I could also imagine this picture at EA / DICE, where they wonder what useless skin variations they can put into their loot crates... looks like they found 7 possible items to add to lootboxes, and we didn't even get to weapons or paintings for vehicles 😀

Think this will be the third one i skipped, after hardline, 1 and now V... its the same format time and time again... 3/4 were the last really good ones on PC would love another BF 2142

Bummer, I was hoping this was more modern than WWII. I was really hoping a new tweak on BF2 or Bad Company 3 but looks like a carry on from Battlefield 1 into WWII. To bad.

Bummer. I prefer clear Red Dot Sight over some rusty and dirty iron sight. I skipped Battlefield 1 multiplayer, because I don't like when half of the screen is covered with the dirty gun. Games, which use modern guns, have much better social cover, because there are a lot of content creators who own real guns and do videos with their impressions. Also, developers can always update game via DLC with the new gun if it appears in reality. With "near future" games, developers can have even more flexibility.
