I always run my Razer Ouroboros at 7300 DPI and have the windows settings on slow, accuracy is pretty awesome, mouse is always used wirelessly too

As to wired or not, I have a G700s and there doesn't seem to be any difference when I'm going wireless. If nothing else, you have the wired connection (they are two separate signals) if you have reservations about wireless gaming. I got my Logitech on sale (at the time, 18 months ago) for $70 USD (was $90 then) and I thought that was a bit of a ridiculous amount to spend on a mouse. It's $63 now and that's still pretty high. $150 though? :3eyes:

I have never had any razer products for more than 2 weeks, so the most important question is - is it going to last more than 2 weeks ? my brother was going back and forth constantly replacing his Deathadder mouse i was more lucky i got my cash back for Blackwidow Tournament either way i wont buy the Mamba or the Deathadder because its too big and the Abyssus doesn't have any buttons

16k dpi, the marketing is real. No idea how they reached that number, but most likely some smoothing involved. I avoid Razer mice. The Deathadder was good, but the high click latency is unacceptable to me, but the G502/G303 from Logitech are simply the best out there when it comes to sensor, click latency, etc.

Wireless or Wired you will see no difference except other might run out of battery. 16k dpi is just useless does anyone use those random 8400 ones? My g700 stays at nice 800 dpi for me cause it is the most comfortable. I got settings for 400, 800, 1600, 2400 and 3000... Those are somewhat usable depending on situation. This new razer mouse costs too much offers stupid things like 1 dpi increments useless beyond belief. You would be better off buying the cheaper model that costs somewhere around 100€

I was silently hoping that the new Mamba would get an optical sensor... well, it didn't happen. Having older Mambas, and still using one, I can say they're extremely comfortable, and wireless connection works exceptionally well. As I don't lift it frequently, the Philips Twin Eye liftoff bug is unnoticeable. The old battery finally died after 3 years, but I got a cheap replacement from eBay around 0.5 years ago. The new one has different shape, so an online purchase would be risky, and the price looks prohibiting. Then why am I looking for another mouse? What's wrong with this one? Comfortable? Check! Quick? Check! Tracks well? Check! Zero lag wireless? Check! Battery lasts for whole day of gaming? Check! Easy to use charging stand? Check! There's one major flaw - Razer Synapse Drivers. They are terrible. It's a "normal" thing that mouse randomly stops working and I have to unplug the receiver and plug it again. Besides, I tested Bloody (A4Tech) Blazing A9 mouse yesterday. It costs $18 over here, converted to USD, including 23% VAT. It's stupidly precise and quick for this price. The button response time seems to be lower than in any other mouse I tried, the wheel works reliably, and the feet are made from some metal (aluminum) with some weird coating, which results in very little difference between static and dynamic friction. On top of that, the cord is braided, but very flexible; it may be one of the best cords I've seen on a mouse in terms of weight and flexibility, perhaps even better than on Mamba. It even has a velcro strap on it. The software looks okayish, with surface calibration, liftoff config, a few modes, multiple dpi stages up to 4000 (tested at 800 and 2000), and the changes are written to mouse internal memory. There are some extra software features after paid unlock, but I wasn't interested in them. Now, seeing so solid $18/16€ mouse, with a cable so good that I might ditch wireless, what would Razer (or any other brand) have to offer to make me spend 180€?
