In literature of the early 20th century, before the invention of compound bows, composite bows have been described as "compound". This usage is now outdated. According to Wiki.

Lol, it’s far from that if you have actual looked at the videos or understand the engine. Looking at what we have saw from videos, it looks to be the most advanced engine we have yet to see in an actual game, and after the initial release of Crysis 2 it appears Crytek want to prove a point, so I would expect it to need 2xGTX680 or 2x7970 to max it at 60fps. I’m waiting to see what the new AMD cards are at the beginning of next year, as I will have no chance with this GTX570.

Yeah, this seems more like a game really meant for the next-gen consoles IMO
