Dear MSI, please, pretty please, get rid of the Realtek NICs. At least for the top tier models. Intel or Broadcom are better and not so much expensive. Home lab aficionados would choose those over Realtek, even for more money. My 2 cents (that would probably change nothing)

Intel I225-V, have you have to deal with this crap? Guess what solves this mess in a new system I build for a client, yes it was a Realtek NIC add-on card.

I know about the I225-V firmware mess. For sure, there are other NIC who can fit the bill, even older, proven ones. But you're right about that detail.
