I haven't forced updating the Windows version for a good long while (or tried to), and I'm still running that 1803. I guess I don't need to do anything now, either, since you mentioned Windows will update itself before the 1803 enters the out of service state. I might want to see that my parents' PCs do get updated successfully while I'm around to observe the process, though.

bugs, bugs, bugs; bugs everywhere! The upgrade process is still bugged as hell, you cannot upgrade your OS installation without loosing half of your settings and having half of the policies not working anymore...

I did performance comparison between Windows 10 and Windows 7 and Windows 10 does not perform better in any scenario. Also network transfer speed, USB 3.0 etc performance is equal. Don't judge, but I have no found a single reason to upgrade to Windows 10.

Just tried and it failed.... lolz Did it's download, said needed to reboot. I reboot and it says the usual and this will take a while. It ran for like 2 minis and rebooted and said undoing changes done to your system and rebooted again back to the way it was.... 😱 No error messages or anything.... Gonna try again here in a few....
