Could this also be the problem from resume from sleep? I suspected driver and reverted to older , it didn't happen again with that said driver, but I uninstalled this update just in case.

Installed on the 13th, no issues so far.

I haven't had any issues with this update, in fact I haven't had any issues with any of their updates that I keep seeing others having issues with. Not sure if I'm lucky or its just that people having these issues is a much smaller percentage than the internet outrage makes it out to be. Either way knocking on wood now! :P

You know how this works. There's no reason to post about everything working fine, and folks who are having issues naturally get annoyed at those chiming in they are not affected and the cycle repeats. Then there's the group that 'improve' Windows with removing modifying system files then rage about updates 'breaking' their 'improvements'. The amount of time and space wasted on this forum over 'telemetry' is hilarious. Hackers would be more effective social engineering them here than MS trying to spy on you. 😎

What ever happened to the 'if it's not broke, don't fix it' mentality. As in, just pull the wireless adapter when you walk away, so it can't break itself before you get back.
Everything IS broken, though...

I think this is funny as even microsoft can mess up UEFI/Legacy installs still, anyone in the know will know this is exactly what the issue is but microsoft dont want too look stupid admitting it,i bet if the same users were too swap there boot from uefi too legacy the issue shouldn't be there, seen so many systems having this issue since 1709 and having too fix them.
Would you elaborate on what this apparently well-known problem is? It's not like this update straight up cripples all UEFI systems, and it's not like UEFI systems seem to have been having issues (let alone this particular issue, which may well be entirely new as of last week) in general since 1709 in my experience...

Had the problem. Random lockup on desktop and PC refusing to shutdown/restart if any launcher (Steam, Uplay) was running. Removed the update and all is good, first time an update ever 'broke' something for me.
