dsbig:

is it crap on some systems. like mine. start menu/search task stops responding. clean install not fixing it. slower task manager and sometimes stops responding. plus microsoft forcing patches down people throats in windows. a lest with windows 7, I can tell the system not to install these recent patches. also windows 10 seems to be breaking records for having most reinstalls/clean install. windows 7 is blazing fast on my system.. I noticed that in windows 10 superfetch goes crazy after logging into the system and I cant do anything for almost 10 minutes because its usage is too high.
W7 was pretty sweet. Never been a fan of the registry system but 7 was probably the least registry corruptible OS for me personally. I would say that LTSB is the Windows 7 of the Windows 10 world because it doesn't have the store, Edge or any other nonsense. Everyone's going to have different experiences with various OS's though just from how you use it and the variations on hardware drivers. I had a motherboard that didn't work out so great with 7 but swapped it with a different one and 7 was a great experience. I'm about to upgrade my current MOBO and chances are good I won't have the same W10 update issues but for me I now just prefer to do away with it using WU Disabler, you can also disable Defender too if you want and it's a portable app so no install needed. You can disable superfetch service but honestly if it's such a well made OS, you shouldn't have to do anything because an OS is just a platform to run software and Windows never could understand that concept. This is something both me and my wife have had happen quite a bit since W10 came out. Which is one of the things that prompted me to forcefully disable updates. [youtube=eP31lluUDWU]
