Hmm, where that leaves the LTSC machines running W10? Is there a feature so big, so important, so desirable that couldn't be implemented into the W10 that users have to upgrade "downgrade" cough, cough to W11?
LTSC 2021 support should end on Q3-Q4 2027

Does that mean I will be able to actually do this on Windows 11? https://i.imgur.com/10lt3j6.png
Different thing we're talking about. Ungrouping as in every open explorer window will be a separate bar on your taskbar, instead of being grouped into an icon. So you can actually use Win 11 for work tasks, finally.

Linux looks sexier and sexier to me. Just saying.

My understanding is there will be a W11 LTSC in 2024, for me Win10 LTSC with Chris Titus Windows Debloater and Shutup10 leaves a very good modern Windows, checking right now 89 processes running.

As long as games are still running on Win10, I see no point in "upgrading". I've installed the OS on this computer when I got my Ryzen7 1700 ... and that's quite a while ago. Still runs fine.

In a recent announcement, Microsoft has confirmed that Windows 10 will no longer receive updates with new features. The current version, 22H2, will be the final version of the operating system. ... Microsoft Announces the End of New Feature Updates for Windows 10
On other hand if W10 work then W11 work (faster than W10 if you disable everything not needed)... But i agree it is not out of the box, some little trix should be done.

All Windows 11 needs to do to get me to use is use it is: 1. Give me the option to disable the new context menu. 2. Give me the option to always show all items in the start menu. 3. Give me the option to un-combine tasks on the task bar.
1. Create reg key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\CLSID\{86ca1aa0-34aa-4e8b-a509-50c905bae2a2}\InprocServer32 (Create parent keys if not present) Reboot. 2. reghack as well: Go to: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced - new dword 32bit, name: Start_ShowClassicMode - set dword to "1" for classic start menu - reboot 3. solution: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/windows-11/how-to-enable-never-combine-taskbar-buttons-windows-11/m-p/2824344 I use (1.) on my corporate computer and it works well, (2.) and (3.) are untested.
