I only just noticed it has a powerbrick... that's not a good sign. Gonna have to pass it up then. Internal PSU or GTFO.
That's quite interesting, as my preferences are just the opposite. 🙂 Granted, I'd appreciate internal PSUs more if I hadn't experienced displays where those were incredibly noisy. To the point I had to get rid of the display.

Don't pull the trigger just yet folks. 27", 49", 77" QD-OLED 2.0 will be annouced this upcoming CES 2023 and releasing from March onwards like this year's AW3423DW. Just month and a half more to see the next big thing. Hopefully we'll get a glimpse of newer display technology like AMQLED, Micro-LED, QNED or QDEL in the event as well.
that's good advice for the patient among us. but remember the lead-time from CES to market is three to six months on average, longer if there's production issues (like QD-OLED) i'll write up what's really good in real-time as i'm there every year.

Don't forget to share pictures and footages for those of us here who aren't in the State or won't be able to make it to the event. 😀O_O

I was holding out for a 32" 4k oled, but grew impatient and went with the 42" c2 instead.

atm that's the best deal in the US usually just under $900 for the 42" the ROG is sourced from the same panel but w/ totally upgraded power supply/ heat sinks

i go for kinda my personal "top 10", because i'm there for work. it's very easy to get lost in the tech "wonderland" of it all. i spent an hour with LG despite only being interested in three things (all techno-geek),as the bendy-curvy OLED on every surface made me think it was the 60's and i was on acid. so sometimes i miss certain things (like when Lian Li introduced the 011D) because i wasn't thinking about being thorough like a journalist.
