I still can't believe 4060 Ti would be released with a memory bandwidth of 288 GB/s. Compare that to 3060 Ti's 448 GB/s.

8gb/128bit x60ti card is just no-go. Even if priced right and we know it wont be the card wont do well in 2023.

8G 4060Ti would be an absolute disater. Needs 10G as bare minimum.

I wouldn't buy anything under the 4070's as soon as you buy it, it's out of date. Unless your not gaming at all........ otherwise I wouldn't touch it even if it's dirt cheap.

Holy downgrade from 3060Ti Batman 😱 , $600~$650 US Dollars castrated 4060Ti incoming ...

its the 960 part deux

I know I won't get much sympathies here, but I say it's actually showing how bad things are in general if there even is something like a 4060Ti while the generation / circle of GPUs is still going on.

O cholera , przecież to jest poziom niżej od serii 3 za cenę z kosmosu, to jest w ogóle nie opłacalnie

rumors till "released" but if true Nvidia can frack off less then half banddwith of 3060ti and same 8gb which no good if you wast to really use RT which what they been pushing

But at least 960 was PCI-Express x16, this one going with x8... I really hope that this rumors are really just rumors, if this specs are true... omfg what a disgrace for a medium range GPU. It's evolving, but backwards.

maybe they did away with xx50 series and then xx60 is new xx50 and xx70 is then new xx60 so on and so forth. all while pricing them like there something completely different. cause they know stupid will except it? tons of sarcasim in the above statment. but i would not be surpised if there there end game 3060ti 256bit 448GB's and 620GB's in case of "revision" 8gb 4060ti 128bit 288GB's 8GB's this thing is spec more like 4050 which if there even is one will probably be less specced then 3050 and double the cost If these spec pan out, and people except it and the and cost. only the 1% will both pc gaming anymore

It honestly just feels like they are nerfing cards on purpose and selling them for double the price.

Different architectures need only certain amounts of bandwidth. Pay attention to the actual performance, not just specs 😉.

not really the point. the specs are going backwards, Bandwidth does matter I remeber going from 9800gtx 70GB's and using AA in games to a 450gts 57.7GB's that much newer and ran games better, so long as i didnt use AA which i used alot... there other reasons why Bandwidth matters. it one reason why ever card I ever bought after that had equal to or MORE bandwidth

I suspect Jensen got a tad high sniffing all the leather jackets in his closets, hence the absolute nutz pricing....and bandwidth castration.

I doubt there has been any amazing texture compression breakthroughs between Ampere and Ada. The other thing is the big cache within the GPU chip itself. AMD already put it to use in the previous gen, and indeed it does help mitigate lacking bandwidth somewhat, which allowed AMD to not use GDDR6X but stick to the cheaper non-X. It's not like AMD wouldn't love to cut the bus width, the same as Nvidia. However, the weaknesses of that technology were shown as well, especially going toward higher resolutions. I suppose 4060 Ti will be a 1080p card, so maybe that pitiful bandwidth will be enough with the large cache. Time will tell. I guess Jensen hasn't been sparing the whip to drive his engineers to somehow make it work.

Almost 4x less shaders than the 4090, a 128 bit bus, 8GB of RAM... and I'm sure it'll be wonderfully priced just like the rest of the lineup. Everyone must be very pleased with this leak.

unfortunate but expected, most people who buy gpus nowadays are not as well informed as compared to the past, so the damage from launching such an inferior product is non-existent market wise. they can practically sell a turd sandwich and so long as the user experience isnt horrible, they will get away with it.

How does trickery like DLSS work with bandwidth? Maybe they are just banking on every mid range card user running with scaling anyway.

Oh boy can't wait to upgrade my from my 1060 with 8GB to a card in 2023 with 8 GB. 😡 I want an upgrade at some point...
