waiting for 14500, gonna be an energy efficiency/value beast for gaming and applications. hope the refresh is ddr4 compatible too, it would be a shame to waste 32 gigs of 3600mhz mem just for a few percent that's only noticeable when using a 3090/4090 at 1080p. 8/16+12e will probably be the new i7.

It could also be these dies have rearrangements and drop the dd4 controller, though unlikely.

I wonder if these will guarantee ddr5 8000+ support DDR5 IMC is a crapshoot with massive variance with 13th gen

Do those insane speeds make any difference regarding "real" performance?

Yes, improvements are better in the 1% and .1% lows rather than just the average.

An gain of maybe 8%+ in averages and 16%+ in minimums, when going from tuned ddr5 6200 to tuned ddr5 8200. Maybe it'll make a big difference with starfield, who knows

that's why buying ddr5 for r7000 seems silly atm with 5800x3d selling for 290eur. you'll miss on the ddr5 frequency gains that a-die provides.

Doesn`t Ryzen works better with DDR5 6000Mhz amyway, to maintain the clocks 1:1? That`s was my reason for getting this memory speeds for my new build.

Yeah but the sticks can do 7000+ they're being limited by the imc.
