Yes, I did read the article. Intel showed off "DG1" (actually Xe LP) supposedly playing Destiny 2....on a laptop.... Intel also showed a physical "DG1" based graphics card, which is reportedly being sent to developers to help optimize code for "DG1". According to every other article I've read, Intel provided zero specifications for "DG1" at CES. It's also been reported that Intel wants to develop something similar to "hybrid crossfire" where an iGPU and dGPU share the graphics processing load, hoping for perfect scaling. It's also been reported by others that the 96CU and GDDR6 are simply assumptions made by media and Intel has refused to confirm any specs. Intel has also NOT said that "DG1" won't target desktops..... Quite the contrary, actually. "DG1" will target the desktop segment in the form of Xe LP and Xe HP....per Intel. "DG1" actually meaning Discrete Graphics Generation 1.... The article is not about laptops. The article is about "DG1"....and a lot of assumptions that were made by the source, but have been refuted by other tech journalists....and Intel's own presentation.

Harsh truth, many games are built with consoles in mind. PC master brains, cannot accept controllers work with PC for a reason, decades now. Unless of-course, they bragging multiplayer statistics... Hell how many times, I prefer tons of games playing with controller both PC and Xbox, keyboard and mouse are necessary evil for previous and new decade. Usage only when you can't do otherwise. Controller is the default priority in PC gaming, only rgbs in keyboard and mouse keep sales up. Destiny 2 also played with controller here.

It's not that Bungie didn't try, definitely compared to their last PC release with Gearbox being Halo it's a lot better, but Destiny definitely is an easier game to play with a controller in mind.

It surely depends on game, but PC nowadays cannot be a game machine with a controller plugged in. Anthem, Destiny 2, Witcher 3, RDR, GTAV and so many other like those games out, If I see a human playing any RPG with keyboard and mouse I will seriously call the Police and National Institute of Mental Health. It is a serious alert about a dangerous for society person.
