this is another short-lived cpu, which is really strange because Enterprise hangs on to its hardware for longer than consumers. the only sales of substance will be to Intel themselves for the Cloud, plus a few dyed-in-the-wool Intel clients (outside of Europe where This Will Not Fly). too much heat, too little efficiency. every government agency and every corporate entity looking to cut operational costs (let alone Greenhouse gasses from power plants) will avoid these like the plague. in this case more than a year late, and hundreds of millions of dollars short

Very sad, it looks like Skylake-X successor is really dead. No Ice Lake-X 10nm.
