regarding demand and supply, to be fair, we should see more around the globe rather than pointing a shop still have product on the shelve, no ?
NOT A SHOP geizhals is an online price comparison platform featuring hundreds of shops https://geizhals.de/amd-ryzen-5-5600x-100-100000065box-a2392524.html?v=l&hloc=at&hloc=de product going in and out of stock is definition of supply/demand equilibrium, not a sign of much higher demand than supply

Intel CPUs are all still broken. They're selling buggered CPUs.

Those were Intel's benchmarks, so in other words outright lies. Not exaggerations, just complete lies. They've been on a warpath with just straight lying ever since AMD took the lead and they hired a new head of marketing propaganda. I'd be surprised at the best case scenario of those being exaggerated cherry picked top results for Intel instead of just steaming BS. Personally I'm not one of those mythic people who uses their PC for absolutely nothing but gaming and never a thing else, so I'd rather have the shit ton of more cores at the same price while having the virtually same gaming results as I don't have 69420Hz monitor, just a measly 144Hz so a 3900X is more than enough with an RTX 3080.

even its hundred of shops, how many shop have it available and how many they have stock ? if say, many available in europe, so europe have more zen3 than rest of the world ? by looking at those, how we can conclude that supply and demand is normal in the world? the basic in market having it not always available is the clear-sign there still more demand than supply when supply is enough to fulfill demand, then we can find/available it in most retail/stores that always been like that, or u can give me some fact otherwise But for zen3, all of those most big retailer dont have product, they purchase product in bulk, and more improtantly its not just single retailer, but most of them dont have stock that is obvious sign there low/limited supply i cannot get it with the logic that is like its fine to have limited-stock? if u have company and making a product, u always want your product ready in market, so everyone can keep purchasing it, whatever they want if not ready, then consumer can/will buy alternative and thats your lose

Where is the surprise ? Intel atm has the value market and stock in shelves while shortages on top of that drove amd cpu prices up for example an i5 10400 can be found for about 150 bucks meanwhile the 3600 is about 250 and the 5600 400+ , the performance differences are not as big as the price not even close .

I personally think that AMD needs to grab OEM market share. DIY already shows improvement. But without OEM, the biggest part of the PC market still goes to Intel, no matter what.

No surprises. AMD can´t keep up with the demand while Intel has plenty of it. And because of it, their prices are worse then they should really be. I´m thinking about moving to AMD but i´m not going to pay 350€ for the 5600x or 470€ for the 5800x... Bad luck for AMD, they have the best product but they can´t make enough of it...

I don't know what else can AMD do in order to gain higher market share?! intel's market & mind share seems impenetrable. . . 🙁
To earn on pro segment you have to remember that company change hardware around each 4 year... 4 year ago i would not have invested on Epyc. So to win on this segment they have to be patient and constant... Change the Intel have been voted in advance. (also shortage on Epyc doesn't help) Ryzen are aviable again since only 1 week or 2 and no APU are in stock (R3, R5, R7 without graphic)... Too bad there is no GPU either (only GT 710 at 80 Euro !!! and GT 1030 at over 100 Euro !!! if lucky). Intel have IGP and are in stock since 3 week more: Intel win also here.

All I know is that many cleaned-up with AMD stock. Jumping from $38 to $94 in less than 10-months. A nice run with a fat 401K and RMD's. Today AMD is at $87 a share and facing a foreseen adjustment. Going forward much investment is going Intel's way and especially with two CPU generations being pumped out in the next 6-8 months. Double dipping at its best. For that reason mobo manufacturers love 2021 as well. Lets go with a new mandatory socket. Then with the "revolutionary" Alder Lake product in the wings many of the investment boys are looking now at Intel for some decent $$$-spreads later this year. Merry Christmas. One of the Fidelity boys remarked yesterday about AMD and said: "We are here to making some money and not playing games like the geeks. AMD was nice to us but what have they done for us lately?" Then I came to realizing that the boy's think of AMD or any declining stock like a loose woman. Easily loved and just as easily dropped. It's a cold world out there in NYC and Wall Street has no memory.
