It could have been like that, Intel were the 1st to have done it in the past 🙂 The new W serie is very welcome the old one started to feel a bit old, i hope the price will be realistic for ws user.

But more importantly looking forward to this. So we got Thread Ripper 1>2>3 etc and then pro with a big price hike. Lets hope this gives AMD a run for there money so that maybe be they drop the pro BS. 🙂

The threadrippers pre pro AMD limit their max ram to 256gb witch for most of us is a non issue . But they are one of the most likely platform to be considered for work loads that chomp on ram like that. So I hope for the same and AMD to not limit the max ram again. Pretty much for people that need over 256gb ram was either xeons or epyc
