Let's hope Intel keeps their "We're not slowing down!" promise. Lately everything is about low power. Although it helps the electricity bills go down, it is hardly what a lot of enthusiasts want.

I don't understand why people are so worried about power consumption by their desktop. Household A/C units, electric stoves, electric water heaters , etc draw more power than most desktop computers.

Sata express

Yeah.. It's sad that there's no mention of Sata Express support. DDR4 probably won't cut it for me, since if we go by the RAM progression in recent memory, we'll probably see negligible improvements outside of benchmarking. Maybe DDR4 will help Nvidia Maxwell's unified memory. Or AMD's Mantle.

DDR4 will be good but it wont be used for years after its release. The mainstream need to catchup first.

Great… the 8 core is an extreme only cpu, that's me out.
Six cores just doesn't sit right with me… it's like the CPU is not sure whether to be a quad core or a octacore so it sits in middle thinking "wtf am I".

why care about ram?! let's talk about sata express!
