They're looking good. I wonder what they're capable of in terms of air overclock.

Can you explain what looks so good about them?

Unlocked Pentium sounds interesting, as you get cheap CPU that you can OC, and 4790K model with stock turbo of 4.4 tends to suggest easy 5GHz+ on air.

Intel would probably make a killing on an unlocked i3.

4690k, has a certain ring to it when you say it out loud. one of these @ 4.9 - 5.1ghz could surely do witcher3? imo 1080 60 /75fps yes.(without aa and blur).

lol what's this obsession with Witcher, that 4core wont be anything faster then your atm @ 4.8ghz.

Exactly, want more CPU power, just add more cores, IB-E or HW-E when that comes out.

4790K looks like a monster, if intel is rating it 4.0ghz base, and 4.4ghz on turbo.... cant wait to see reviews into how high it reaches.

Well if it does consistently clock to 5ghz I'd have a very difficult decision between one of these and a hexacore haswell-E!

I just cant get excited about any thing that does not come with DDR4.

"Once we place things into a table, we get a pretty decent overview of what you can expect int he coming weeks." Does that mean that the September rumor is potentially wrong? I can only hope.

I can confirm that the end of June (the 30th) is my birthday and that would be an excellent present, from Intel.

You're better off waiting for Skylake. That should be the next big jump.

Intel will next week announce their Intel Devil's Canyon and Pentium 20th Anniversary Series G3258 CPUs. These have been much discussed already and especially Intel Devil's Can... Intel Devils Canyon and Pentium 20th Anniversary Series CPU-Z Specs
was hoping 4790k would be around the price of the 4790 which about 250$ microcenter not the 350+ price tag. either way 4780k is very tempting.

If they do release the Devils Canyon CPUs at the end of June then I will be getting a 4790k rather than a 4770K but if it is indeed September then I am going for a 4770K.
