Dont know atm i know new chipst set altogether. I just want a get what cpu/mobo is the equivalent to the i7 4790k with its 4ghz base clock and ddr4 on my next build if it 6 core or more, more the better.

I'm waiting for at least Skylake. I might even wait for Skylake-E the way things are looking.
Would be nice for most people if they used the same socket if theyre not going ddr4.
Broadwell will use LGA1150 and the Z97 chipset. The same as Haswell and Devil's Canyon. Devil's Canyon was nothing but a "stop-gap" product because Intel couldn't launch Broadwell on time due to manufacturing issues.

maybe so bout the devil canyon, I am very intrested in 4ghz stock speed cpu's
