Honestly, I would not use it in my main PC since I have an R9 290. If I did win this card I would first offer it to my father. He is currently using an AMD FX 4100 with an ATI 2600XT GDDR3 variant. He only plays on the weekends and only plays Call of Duty singleplayer on low settings, but this upgrade might just let him try out Black Ops 3.

Well, it's about time my wife get's a great 1080p gaming graphics card. She only have a Amd 5850, and I think this was a perfect gift for her. Cheers mates.

My significant other needs a new GPU. A GTX 470 is far too ancient to play any recent titles at decent frames. That and I had two Palit GTX 570s fail on me. They owe me an apology.

I just want to give this GTX 950 to my brother so they can play online games with good frame and get better skill with that frame 🙂

I've been stuck on integrated graphics for the last 9 months due to budget constraints. I've got a lovely Korean overclockable 27" screen that is just begging for a discrete graphics card. There is only so long you can not starve playing don't starve before you have to give something more graphically intensive a go. Steam sale is fast approaching! This graphics card would be greatly helpful in expanding my stream wish list 🙂

well to be honest I have you know ....LOT OF VGA'S and I don't really need this card 1 bit. but since I have a 980 970 960 what the hell I should get a free 950 I mean like wth right. so I just want to take this palit(card and maybe take that cooler off throw it away,put an aio on it for starters. Maybe find the volt read point then bios mod it as much as I possibly could.afterwards I would put it on dry ice cooling to see how fast it would bench for craps and giggles. if it makes it through testing then its off to be giving away on the guru forums a short time later with some other contest like "whos your favorite porn star" or even just randomly. so its just like re-gifting in a way. so what am I going to do? 1 put it through its paces 2pass on some how to stuff about this and other 950's 3 for sure I will get very high and overclock it and bench it. 4give it away at guru so I am not going to do this 1give it to my father so he can play his games better(really he is your father buy him a real card)but nice try. 2not going to save a cat in a tree with it 3no the wife/gf should get something better too don't be cheap jeez 4 I am not going to physically merlester it,no ass end or hard mod not even a pencil mod(but might use the card to find one) so there you have it....do I need this card? oh f no...do I want to play with it a few weeks then give it away oh why not.

Videocard for friend I want to win the videocard to surprise a friend. He really wants to play online games with me but now has my old videocard (HD5850) in a very old DELL XPS rig with a core 2 quad. Because the card had allready been punished for so many years, it sounds like an aircraft taking off every time he starts a game 🙂 . Not to mention he has to set his graphics settings to low in a game like heroes of the storm to get proper framerates. We were going to give him a new card with a couple of good friends for christmas but if we win this, we can buy him a nice mainboard and CPU so we can finally play some games together! (btw. Amesome job on the website team Guru3D, I've been lurking for many years but I made an account for this awesome giveaway)
