My S6 got Marshmallow like a couple of months ago and now a new version is already out meaning I'll have to wait at least a year before it's on my phone (provided I even keep it that long). Samsung is so slooow regarding older models -.-
Not only that, even the S7E (my phone) will probably get it somewhere next year. I guess the Note 7 will be pre-loaded with it. Samsung's update policy is one of the worst of them all.

nougat Has brought some nice improvements to my 6P, Really not sure what the new nexus could bring to the party tbh.

So my tablet (Nexus 7 2013) won't be getting it. Wonderful. I'm not that upset though. Marshmallow works fine as did every version since the Jellybean it came with. I really haven't noticed much change in any of the versions. I'm not a huge Android fan anyway. I prefer my Lumia 640 with Win 10 Mobile.

I have a Lumia 640 Dual Sim DTV, a Moto G2, a Samsung Tab 2 and an iPhone 5. The only ones getting updates are the Lumia and the iPhone. The G2 stopped six months ago, and the Samsung Tab I can't even remember since when. The Lumia is by far the best experience over all of them.

These Samsung phones will get it, but yeah what next year Q3 lol, I wish they would just skip marshmallow for those that still didnt get it and upgrade them to Nougat 😛c1::infinity:
Samsung is known for lagging behind other manufacturers when it comes to updating their devices to the newest version of Android. But that is the case only for the low and mid end devices and not with the high end flagship devices that Samsung has released. So is KitKat, but they made a deal with Nestle.
