smart thinking, this annoyed the hell out of me on Z390 Intel "fake slots" that you cannot use I've also seen one of the TRX40 motherboard O_O (should not run out of lanes) that if you plugged 1 m.2 you lost 4 sata ports, 4 ! wth

@EspHack lol. i can run a 2080S FTW on 3.0 8x without loss in performance. most of the time switching from 16 to 8 will introduce less overhead and actually imrove. so yeah, really a bottleneck 🙄 hope it works better than the x570 ultra/master that ppl have.

Gonna go with one these and ryzen 4000. Hopefully 4600x will be 8c/16t this time around.
4600x being 8/12 cpu would be stupid IMHO. 12 thread cpus are still the best balance of gaming cpus from my experience.

Hey, if AMD can give me 8c instead of 6c for the same price, I will surely accept it. (Probably won't happen with Zen3, maybe Zen4?) Then you can buy 6c CPU for even lower price. It's not stupid, it's PROGRESS BABY! See current 3300x prices.
