I wonder what the physical size of 3090 GPU would be if we was to turn back the clock and manufacture it @ 180nm same as a plenty 4 willemette ? Perhaps need a wheel barrow to move it around.

Yeah the card looks cool. I can't wait to see some benchmarks also temp checking as well to see if it effecting any CPU cooling. Also dismantling these cards for water cooling isn't going to be easy they are going to be even more difficult than the 2xxx series cards.

Nvidia done very well on design on the 3080 I think, it looks amazing and I think will work very well^^
Nvidia 20XX(Ti) does look good too, but gets very hot on the backside after some use.
When it comes to look I love the ones made by Nvidia<3

Its a easy thing to do to bring cable around from one location to another.
simple to mod the tooling to bring the 12 pin there.
It wouldn't be hard i could even mod the tooling myself even after hardening with some spark erosion and plenty of die electric.
Honestly this reference card will struggle to sell looking this ugly.

*Waits for AMD Navi. Hopes for massive price drops...somewhere, anywhere that would be an upgrade from GTX 1060 3GB*
...and dropping what used to be $199 before the "mining craze" from ~700 to ~500 is not even close! Not to mention, I'm pretty sure I'd need a new $100+ Power Supply (3x8 pin?!?!) just to plug one of these in.
