if you have so much money why are you using cards on air?, why would you only have a single card, you want the fastest card yet you only have a 680, haha, what a joke.
trolls that cant even troll well...sad. still am sure mods will deal with him if he persists.

why? the 290 is almost £250 cheaper and performs not that far from 780ti, not to mention my cheapo 7950 crossfire pisses all over the 780ti too 🙂 trolling is not welcome here.
I concur, price is way too much for 780 Ti 290 is by far best bang for buck for single card slap 3rd party cooler on it job done

Well after reading the review I don't feel as shafted considering I picked up 2 780 classies last month. For the price I was really expecting more. At stock the TI seems pretty close to a 780 classified. I was thinking about the EVGA step up program but it doesn't seem to be worth an extra 300 bucks for 10-20 more fps considering how great things run already..

I don't see why its a money issue here, because I don't care for tinkering my card? And I always will use single cards because it causes less problems. and I have LSI RAID cards, dedicated sound card and capture cards in my computer that only leave one space for graphics card. People have priorities, I have about 2TB of SSD and Dell U3011 30" monitors because I have to use them. water looping my graphics? don't care so much for.

Are they available for sale yet? Cant decide which one to get. Usually I get EVGA but that Gigabyte looks nice too.

If I made a shyt load of money I would have at least a single titan if I had 1 pci e slot available. Or a 690 7990 780 290x 290. The list is fairy large on cards faster than a 680.
Use your brain, 680 was the best card at the time when I bought it, people usually follow an upgrade cycle you know? Which is why I said I'm getting the 780TI, so simmer down boy, and get your own.

Beautiful card, without a doubt. However, I can't help but feel that Nvidia loves to crap on their own customers. Had I bought a 780 recently, I would feel shafted right now. It's similar to the Titan > 780 releases. Also not too fond about their unwillingness to lower the $650-700 flagship price point that they've adopted this generation.

Your tone is offensive, period. Reread your last few posts and you will see that. You sound like a spoiled rich kid and I hope that you are because the thought of you being an adult disturbs me.

I can understand that with the result of 780TI out of the box a lot of AMD fanboys are going to be pretty pissed off and in a bad mood today, but no need to take it out on one person here trying to make a joke.

Yup, its a little upsetting. But like I said in my previous post its not like the performance difference is massive. But still Nvidia seems to have a habit of doing this and to be honest I have a feeling next upgrade will be with team red.

Wow, is that it, and they want how much over a 290X 😱

I don't know why Nvidia don't go for a price war. I know being top dog, even if it's a small victory, means you get to decide pricing but Nvidia could put AMD in trouble if they really went for it, these are brand new cards and AMD ideally want margins to be as high as possible to begin with.
Yeah problem is Nvidia doesn't want to put AMD out of business, would be bad for them when anti-monopoly laws slam them :biggun:

I think it´s because they don´t want it or needed. We can´t forget that the 780Ti chip it´s the same used in the Tesla/Quadro versions that Nvidia sells at a much higher price with insane margins. So it´s best to loose some sales on Geforce cards and save those precious chips for professional cards where they make a killing and control 90% of the market!!! I would do the same even if i don´t use those professional cards and only care about gaming cards...

Yeah..i kind of feel like it's making Hawaii look more impressive just because of the sheer price difference.
Yeah i agree, i expected more than that, the 290x @ £100-£150 cheaper, and the 290, £240+ cheaper, its mightly impressive 🙂 Probably be able to get custom oc'd 290s for cheaper as well, AMD, the price performance kings, no doubt about it.

Keep editing things in that Deathchild can agree to, Rich Guy...

You can get 2x 290s for £620, thats only £20 more than some of the 780Ti's, and for that extra £20, you can just absolutely obliterate it 😱

You also need to pay for the after market cooling on 290s, though. I think AvengerUK already convinced most of us to steer clear of those and wait for the AIB monsters.
