Literally the cheapest option for a new graphics card that isn't a complete turd and even then it's like 600$ cad which is as much as I payed for my gtx 1080....

I remember this card been sold at $149US dollars at newegg , BestBuy and microcenter. Newegg has been doing extreme scalping with these high prices on such low end old video cards , sadly they are not better than those scalpers at ebay 🙁 , newegg = master scalpers themselfs ! Greed is their God !

In here exept RTX 3090 (that cost 3 time the RX 6900 with lower aviability too lol) the best NVidia that can be found is GT 730... So feel lucky that is a more modern GPU. The best sold GPU is RX 6600 despite 550 Euro is too expensive for the perf you get... Also the good point is that despite Xmas the whole seller still have them "in stock", just checked now, i hope it will make them cheap for january's sale 🙂

Too bad that the SUPER version which a lot better hasn't taken the place over this one. I am an owner of ASUS TUF X3 GeForce 1660 SUPER which is a great card for 1080p gaming and entry level for 1440p gaming also. In my circles many have bought the 1650 SUPER and say that it is a great card for their needs!

isn't it also a no pcie power connector card ? JayzTwoCents recently mentioned he was using such a card to test computers as it was plug and play everywhere

It's because it's the only card you can find in stock anywhere, because it's not RTX and so it is a hugely overpriced PoS. 🙁
