Changes and Fixed Issues in Version 306.97
The following sections list the important changes and the most common issues resolved
since version 306.23. This list is only a subset of the total number of changes made in this
driver version. The NVIDIA bug number is provided for reference.
Windows Vista/Windows 7
- [3D Surround, SLI], GeForce 500 series: With Surround and SLI enabled, after
resuming from suspend mode and then playing video on 5 Internet Explorer tabs, the
display driver unloads when disabling SLI. [878245]
- [SLI], GeForce GTX 285M: After enabling SLI mode, the NVIDIA Control Panel -
>Adjust Desktop Size and Position page does not show the connected display images
to select. [724229]
Probably not. Adds 650 TI support. Release notes are here - Netherwind

Nice to have official drivers for my cards and certified ones at that but I've only just installed the 306.89 ones the day before last. These don't look terribly exciting in terms of fixes and improvements but I always install the latest drivers out so I'll be installing these as soon as I get home in an hour.
I also noticed with the 306.63 and 306.89 drivers that those Chinese symbols that show when you export the profiles as a text file have now been replaced by English. I believe these are part of the 3D profiles.

Is there a problem with borderlands 2? It runs pretty well for me (tried 306.02 and 306.89)

I've encountered the odd rare stutter with Borderlands 2 on maxed out settings, 1920x1200 and High PhysX but otherwise the game runs smoothly at a constant 60 fps. I presume these 'hiccups' are caused by PhysX as I've yet to play a single game that uses hardware PhysX that doesn't have this issue at some point. IMO, PhysX, even after all this time, is still very poorly optimised.

Anyone else having the idle clocks bug with this driver? Mine is stuck at 3D clocks (732 instead of 135)
Did a clean installation w/ restart. Reverted back to 306.06, all fine again.
New branch starts promising... 😉

No, I am only using in-game options, everything set to max. Game runs fine the majority of the time, but at random times when certain enemies or other objects come into play my FPS takes a nosedive. I can have a dozen enemy firefight and maintain 60fps but after it's over and I turn around to look at the other side of a room I can slip down to mid 40's. Nothing is really going on but GPU usage goes way up and CPU goes down.

Any performance improvements in BF3 or any other newer game except BL2?

Havn't tryed any games yet so cant comment on that.

Why Nvidia even bothered releasing 306.89 yesterday? 306.97 drivers add support for 650Ti cards too.

Seem like very solid drivers, i'm gonna keep em', i do notice a reduced IQ from the tesla ones but whatever, i just ran the Arkham City benchmark and got a very clean result from these.
