i just made a search of Fujitsu computers (notebook-desktop) available in Greek market. intel cpus available only ! relatively higher prices. pc sales dropping by 30% is one thing ,not being competitive is an other.

They were one of the 3 great Laptop makers from Japan next to Toshiba Satellites and Mitsubishi Portege' lines and NEC (PC and game consoles) and the incredible Sharp X68000... Yeh those old 80's. 90's game PCs rocked hard... Such unique personalities back then.

Here in Vienna there's a joint venture (I think) with Fujitsu and Siemens, who did industrial IT sollutions. Used to go by there on some business errands in the building.

I think the last time I seen a Fujitsu machine out in the wild it had a turbo button on the front

Oddly last Fujitsu PCs I recommended where some core 2 duo laptops with the Nvidia gt 240 ... Both buyers where singing it's praises for years ...both of em where replaced only due to old age and being too slow for their users needs 3 and I think 5 years ago .... Not a single issue with both!

I never knew Fujitsu was a half Japanese half German company based out of Germany. You learn something new everyday.
