Good lord, can they please make compact GPUS. Now days its like, bigger GPU equals BIGGER PERFORMANCE.

your's for the realistic great deal of a price of 499$ , buy it now , it just work's , great for overclocking..
data/avatar/default/avatar03.webp
isn't 499 the official 2070 price?

these days i prefer the Nvidia FE design over AIB designs, i would paint the shining center fan hub but i really like this generation FE overall design

So in january 15 we will have affordable turing GPU. I wonder how ray traced Metro will run on these.

Interestingly, this card has a single 8-pin power connector. So the Wattage baseline is 75+150 Watts. Withdraw some reserve and that's a 180 Watt TDP?
Since the 2070 has a 175W TDP, I guess the 2060 will have less than that? For example, the 1070 also has a single 8-pin power connector yet it has a 150W TDP. Power consumption... I hope that cheaper versions of the 2060 (such as MSI Armor or similar) end up having comparable power consumption to similar cheaper versions of the 1070 (or even lower)...

gsync module is still 200$ alone so affordable turing is still not a viable option for me nvidia tries to be competitive in some parts and not at all in others which is weird

Probably more to do with cooling, higher performance = hotter GPU = bigger heatsinks EDIT - Have "Like" and "Reply" buttons on forums been switched around or is my brain in reverse? I keep hitting like instead of reply, on more than just this forum too

The buttons haven't moved. You've got lumbago.

this is really sad when the best 300usd or under card(1070) is 2 1/2 years old is it going to be another 1070 for $325 or $250? the only way to get this card close to beating the 1070 ti is smoke and mirrors,if it does axpect to pay that much which sucks so they have to give us a price that's close to being true, this high price shit with the 20x0 cards is not gunna float in this range

Damn that infliction, it's spreading worldwide 😀

With the NVIDIA pricing I can't see this being a go to for anyone. I just got an RX 580 for $220 and couldn't be happier, and now this will most likely cost somewhere around $350 and I will have to drop freesync on top of that. No thank you.

How is a 2060 gonna perform RTX duties? -_- I really don't get Nvidia

If the rumored specs are true, there's a bigger gap between 2070 and 2080 than there is between 2060 and 2070. Taking into consideration the DXR performance improvements in the patched BFV, I guess in that case the 2060 could be capable of 1080p60 (or close to 60) with DXR on low and maybe a few lowered settings elsewhere? Though personally I'm just interested in a close to 1070 Ti tier card with slightly lower power consumption and price (there's a new rumor that it has a 160W TDP and its MSRP is gonna be $349, 1070 Ti where I live costs 470€+, so I guess even with the increased prices that we have in Europe, it'll still be cheaper than 1070 Ti). https://videocardz.com/79505/nvidia-geforce-rtx-2060-pricing-and-performance-leaked

RTX is my eyes is a total mess... Performance gains aren't the jump many including myself were hoping for, and the prices just make it far to hard for anyone with much sense to go for. Now they're boiling down RTX name to even the low end cards, which the RTX 2070 doesn't really do super well (heck the 2080 ti struggles with RTX) so how is a RTX 2060 going to do with RT? The cards need to drop down in price the extra fee in cost just for RTX which isn't even on many games (and could also die out in a years time) does not make these cards worth it for many people. I hope the 3000 Series will bring back the bigger performance jumps and better price/performance ratios we are used to seeing.

As I hear, it will be cheaper and equal to 1070ti but also both faster and cheaper than the Vega 56 as I predicted already. It is the best gpu under 349~399€. Rtg is officially dead. Where is Navi?

The 2070 is already inadequate for ray traced enabled titles. What's the point of having this technology on an even weaker card?
https://forums.guru3d.com/data/avatars/m/271/271700.jpg
Waiting for AMD. The 2060 will have to be priced at around $250-275 U.S. before I buy it. Graphic card makers need to get off their high horse. We CAN live without them. Used options look so much better than anything nvidia has put out atm. I sure as heck hope these RTX cards come with a free bottle of viagra.

Maybe the release of this video card will mean the price of the 1060 will be made competitive?
