Great article Hilbert. A quick question if you get the time to answer. Will the 240mm version fit into the Air 540 case at the top? I believe the length of the rad with the pumps and res at the end will not fit properly. Was going to grab a H110i GTX though this seems more of an upgrade from my Kraken X61.

Great review, thanks Hilbert! Now I wander if that rad would fit in top of a HAF-X...? But it won't fit on an X58 board 🙁

Thanks for the review! I really whish they would replace that grey QDC with a black one.

great review hilbert! thank you very much, was only waiting for this review in order to complete my shopping list for my next pc. a small question though: in the review you state that you have requested a nano block with QDC and prefilled.
Above you can see the kit we received, for an extra 25 bucks it comes with tubing and quick disconnects and already is factory installed and filled with coolant, we can sincerely recommend you that. The kit now comes prefilled and included are screws and thermals paste and thermal pads.
now i searched their site, however could not find any options so far for ordering prefilled gpu blocks. any chances you could point me where such requests can be done. also do you think that the 360 could cool a 980 gtx SLI configuration as well? thanks and regards, butterwaach

yeah their site can be a bit confusing. We received this kit from EK. It (filling) was mentioned on the invoice .. perhaps drop a note to their customer service as I am sure they will be happy to help you out. And yes, it will easily deal with CPU and 980 Ti SLI.

Yeah indeed, if the a 55x55mm GPU can run 36 Degrees C and the processor is doing 58C - that shows how average the Intel heat-spreader really is.
it is... but considering delit will incrase the overal temp of the liquid and so of the GPU too... so double the circuit is a good point too 🙂 pfff it need too much money for a good cooling lol 🙂

Great review, very informative. The extra info on the Nano block was a great addition! Unfortunately it won't fit my current x58 system 🙁 but I will look at this setup on my upcoming build. It does make it look bulky, but I like the time saved with the quick disconnects.

Great review Hilbert. That QDC looks awesome, someone knows if it's avaible?, I can't find it?

Hey Hilbert, question for you. I wanted to get everything on one loop, instead of having my Fury X(when I get it back of course) on its own AIO block, and my cpu on its own AIO block. Would it make sense to grab the 360 kit and the kit for the Fury X? Only thing I think I would notice is a lot of space saved. 😀

I plan to get the thermaltake x9 case and would like to know if i could connect 2 of these coolers together to cool 2 gpus and the cpu. Is it possible?

And what are the temps after a few hours gaming? I think gpu temps getting 46+ and cpu at 1,3v 70+ ?

Great review as always Hilbert , this kind of articles makes my day happier 🙂 ,EK has really done a great job with this AIO , nice unit. I would like to see AMD socket compatibility with this unit , shame there is none 😏. Hilbert I got a question. Did the AIO unit came with the fans installed like that in pull configuration ? If so would it be feasible for you to turn around the fans in push configuration pushing air thru the radiator instead of pulling air away from it ? can you do that and do a quick test at 4.6Ghz 1.30v. 1.35v. 1.45v. and see if there is a difference in temperatures / I believe there would be 🙂. thank you for an awesome review

These are really nice.I really want the 240 version. I wonder how well a 240 version would do with a 3930k, and R9 290s. I have AIOS on my 290s now. They are cheap Cooler master sheildon 120's. 290s are around 58c under load. I dont have them overclocked beyond factory clocks of 980. I have a h100i on my 3930k. I get around 61c in BF4 @ 4.6 with 1.36v.

If you could change the tubing from a basic tubing to easy connect, you could. You only need one direct tube from one rad to the cpu, and just make sure they go in series.

I can help answer some questions on this stuff. I have the 360 already installed in my case. I've also already changed the fans to a couple alternates from the Vardar fans and was trying to order the QDC Waterblock this morning but looks like the site is messing up when trying to pay. The cooler will fit in pretty much any full tower, and most mid-towers. I have a relatively small tower, Core v31, and can fit it at the front standing vertically. EK also created and opened up a site for users to input their case fitment experience to build up the database of what cases are compatible with these coolers. You can find that site here QDC Prefilled blocks were just released today. Simply go to the site, find the block that fits your card, and select to add-on the QDC pre-filling to your order. You will do this once you add your waterblock to the cart. there are no seperate SKUs for QDC Blocks.. they can add the QDC feature to any gpu block you can find on the site.

Nice review quick question for you Hilbert do you have any information on tests with a 6700k to compare with a H110i GT? Also I take it you can easily change the waterblock?

Myeah, would make sense of course. However it is by the more expensive route you would be taking.

Yeah the fans are installed like that, this kit is as plug and play as can be. I doubt you could shave off another few degrees C though as the cooling capacity already is far beyond what it needs to be - but sure ... it 'could' be a good option for some albeit you'd be dumping heat into the PC which would be the downside ...
