This is a great review, and it backs up my thoughts on the product entirely. There's ample room for easy expansion, and the quality is through the roof. Absolutely perfect for people wanting to get into proper water cooling for the first time.

Yeah the fans are installed like that, this kit is as plug and play as can be. I doubt you could shave off another few degrees C though as the cooling capacity already is far beyond what it needs to be - but sure ... it 'could' be a good options for some albeit you'd be dumping heat into the PC which would be the downside ...
In my case, the air that comes through (I rearranged the direction and am pushing in to the case from the front panel) is still very cool after passing through the rad, even when my chip is hot. I've noticed it keeping my GPU cooler on account of this than when I had it pulling at first. That said, I have the QDC on order now, so once the waterblock is on it will be even less of an issue.. though its not an issue now, is the point I was trying to make.

Solid kit. Builded a Rig with 4790k/X240 and it was really great. EK Rads and kits are great although a bit on the pricey side. Excellent quality tho. But I would take my ACOOL 480mm/UT60 D5 kit. Of course it doesn't fit most cases. Hmm, it doesn't even fit in mine now that I think about it(w/o mods). lol!
