This price slashing wouldn't have something to do with DDR4 coming into play, would it?

Great news , time to stack up more my DDR3 collection , I have a collection of PSC , Samsungs , Elpida BBSE , Hynix and Micron based ICs. Good timings as im back to extreme benchmarking to hwbot 100% , got back my sponsors of LN2 Linde Gas and Asus , looking forward to make it to top 10 overclockers in the world again , made #9 in 2010. Let the DDR3 Ram clocking begin ... 😀 Indeed awsome news. thank you for the heads up Hilbert.

Prices have been dropping over the last month for sure; I just wonder how low they can actually go?

If 8GB wasn't plenty for me I'd probably buy another 2x4GB.

Quite damn low I must say! If my mobo had 4 DIMM slots I would definitely go for 16GB just for the fun of it

If I wasn't already running 16GB I'd do that. Picked it up for a song too, $75 for Vengeance 1600 and that was in January. Crazy though that I could pick up 32GB of it for $185 which is about $75 less than I paid for 2GB of DDR back on socket 939.

Considering picking up 2x8GB sticks....
