Does anybody even have one of these cards?

There are still very basic issues in the 'known issues' section. Nice to see though that they are supposedly making progress, even if mostly laptop users will enjoy their GPUs until Battlemage on the retail front. EDIT. Sorry, I thought this was new news because of @Hog54 post. My bad though. The point still stands. There is slightly newer driver available by the way (30.0.101.1330).

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War may experience an application crash during gameplay.
This problem is there since release of Cold War, iGPU's are to weak to even start this game. ARC cards maybe finally will be able to start this game :-D

That's not true. I have a Steam Deck running Windows 11 Pro and Cold War runs fine at native 1280x800 low settings.

680m rdna2 igpu is even faster than steam deck. It should be capable running gow in fhd low settings.

Yeah, it looks really promising. I think people underestimate where we are with igpu tech. The performance is actually very good for small screens where low quality is acceptable.

Its starting to look bleak for Arc. [youtube=DH2s5HeZzs8] It's not 100% a certainty as of this news, but a lot of indicators seem to be pointing toward DOA.

No, your original comment is more general. Stop trying to be right when you're wrong. Even if you're going with iGPU to mean Intel, you're still wrong as Cold War works on Intel iGPUs.

i posted about my Acer Predator Bifrost 16gb card if you want to see some results, honestly its a damn nice card, worth the cost over the intel models imho, build quality alone is drastically better then intels own cards offer.. the coolers on another level vs their own cards as well, i tend to stick with things longer then average though... thus still having dual 1070's when most moved on years ago...

I do, a "sidegrade" from a GTX3080 10GB. Why sidegrade? Slower than the old one until you push quality with newer titles. Try using highest quality textures on Diablo IV or Hogwarts with 1440p on a 3080.

i had a few people ask me why i went with the Acer Predator Bifrost A770 16gb over an nvidia or amd.. 16gb vram and very competitive perf in most RT titles, some...not so much but... i mean cyberpuke never runs that great.. its the crysis of the current era... hogwarts.... good luck at getting 1440p with a 3080 without really turning down the quality.... it uses over 14gb vram at 1440p ffs... makes me very glad i didnt get the other options i had in this price range.. 🙂

The 31.0.101.4257 is a Beta. New downloads suggest its a non Beta.

Not so good performance in few latest games like Last of Us and Resident Evil 4. Card is very underutilized, drivers are holding it back. It will never be a sucess with such a support. Intel needs to do better.

I think they already are doing a good job so far
