hmm Nvidia experience keeps telling me i have the most recent drivers (until i don't lol).
yeah, i never had any need for wolfenstein...any flavor.

388.10 fixed this issue back in October. So if you wanted to play it you certainly could downgrade.
Geforce Experience only installs WHQL/non-beta drivers aka major releases. Hotfix drivers are usually meant to be manually installed if you have issues mentioned in hotfix notes. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Why am I not getting any BSODs? Different hardware/software variations is the likely answer.

these dont even install properly for me after using ddu, blue screens and the driver fails to load correctly.

Just installed, works well for me. However, I've cleaned it beforehand, so maybe that helps?

And where do these black textures happen?
I'm still in first level just got off that wheelchair and into the suit and I didn't see any black textures yet or am I missing something?
I played the game with 398.11 a good 1-2weeks ago.

But I did notice some performance issues if I changed in-game settings, I would lose 10-15fps at same spot, also setting shadows from high? to Uber would make the performance crawl at DSR 2880*1620.. from steady 100 to 35fps or so xD, when I change back I also lose those 10-15fps, fresh game restart fixes it.

Nvidia did not Digitaly Sign the driver therefor you will have issues installing the driver. Disable driver checks and it works fine.

Had to disable Driver Signing to install these. Reboot, drivers don't load. Me thinks this hotfix needs a hotfix.
Device manager shows this...
"Windows cannot verify the digital signature for the drivers required for this device. A recent hardware or software change might have installed a file that is signed incorrectly or damaged, or that might be malicious software from an unknown source. (Code 52)"

Open an elevated command prompt or elevated Powershell and paste the following
bcdedit.exe /set nointegritychecks on
If you get an error like if you are using a Sruface Book type device, disable secure boot from the UEFI bios and then repeat it again.
But yeah, ALLroy is right, the hotfix needs a hotfix....

That bad, huh? I forgot how AMD used to call their "hotfix of hotfix" releases (before they made their versioning a little more sane again). All I remember it was something funny.

Perfectly fine here no bsod tested on bf1 , pubg , quake champion and rocket league smooth and no performance issue
