Yeh, the clean install option is very buggy. It did work for me this time but the last driver it didn't, had to run the installer again and it worked. So seems to be a random issue.

416.81 removed profiles @ clean install, but kept DSR. When I returned to 399.24 @ clean install, it removed all.

DSR settings are not stored in the DRS bin files located in programdata, this setting is registry side.

I always use the clean install option and its been very hit an miss for me, maybe like 60-70% it does do a clean install

I will try the new ones and see if there is anything different from the .81..! I'll report back! EDIT: I just used DDU and install the drivers fresh! No errors whatsoever and the extracted folder was deleted automatically after the installation. Everything seems to be in perfect order. I will do some gaming and report back tomorrow! 🙂
