;) How disappointing nothing changed bug fixes and the usual optimizations only thought we would get something extra once we hit the 400 series drivers but same ol same ol what works just works mindset.. lol

I look forward to trying these once the crap free version is ready @cryohellinc I had some random crashes in Planet Alpha with the Battlefield V Drivers, hopefully these help with stability.

Hmm, I wonder if they actually fixed the power monitoring stutter this time around. I mean, the release notes say as much but I mean is it actually fixed? Probably it is so that people can measure their fancy new Turing cards power.

It still is pretty high polling rate in AB, about 5x over other data (core clocks) but I don't know on stuttering.

I was hoping for a Control Panel redesign but nope.

It's coming, just not with this release.

It is normal for it to be slower than clock monitoring by factor even with no stuttering. Clocks are internal GPU performance counters and they can be read extremely fast. Power is monitored by external onboard chips, so it needs time to be read by GPU via relatively slow I2C bus

So perf is actually 1-2fps slower then older 399? At least that's what I saw at computer base.de

Good to know, I have had it disabled so long I forgot what it used to look like. To be honest I don't think I had the stuttering issue with my setup and games. I just disabled it when the issue came up as to me its use is more important at the time of card install/setup and not so much after once you got everything set up. I am sure others know what games they had and will report on these drivers.

normal, these drivers are obviously focused on rtx series

Why is this not on GeForce.com?

They are not slower, the average difference with 399.xx is well below margin of error.
