Horus-Anhur:

LOL, that won't fix the stuttering and hitching in UE4 games.
I can tell you didn't try, because I'm playing all games now without stutter and I ran this application on my new Windows 11 install.

Is it a good move or bad moving to UE5 engine, expect the worst same old stuttering mess and hope for the best to be playable. Did they even get there demo for UE5 working yet without crashing, the one with the hills/mountains valley of the ancient or something. The Matrix Awakens looks awesome but it runs at 30FPS,going from memory so things may have changed in the last 6+ months. The smart guys making these engines always put out greta,I mean great demos but the games disappoint when action is applied, left out the best part of my joke here because it may hurt someone's feelings. Anyway as of today UE5 looks like the future of engine for PC games.Looks like the best visual engine for PC games today. I hope the developers do not get fooled on this engine and it is easy to work with and implement the newest features for more realistic experience.

I thought they'd said there was going to be no more Tombi after the last one.

Just the last for this saga, because it was planned as a trilogy. So we can expect some sort of reboot for this next game. In related news..... Tomb Raider Writer Wants Lara to Evolve Past Her Father
Speaking at the 2022 BAFTA awards, narrative writer Rhianna Pratchett spoke about the evolution of Lara Croft and how the story of Tomb Raider has changed following the reboot of the franchise. Pratchett discussed that she'd like to see more in terms of Lara's growth, with her character development relying less on her father. For some fans, Lara's discovery of her father's past was a negative point for the story, as it meant the focus was taken from Lara and placed upon the mystery of her father. Pratchett would love to see Lara move on from this relationship with her father, instead working on becoming the Tomb Raider fans have known for decades. Speaking on where the character could go in future entries, Pratchett said that she "would like to see probably less father issues... [W]hen we wrote the reboot game, she was really on her way to becoming a Tomb Raider." Pratchett then went on to say that she hopes in the future fans see Lara as an independent Tomb Raider, free of her father's past. With an upcoming Tomb Raider title being announced recently, there's hope these changes will come sooner rather than later. There are a few more elements besides the focus on Lara's father that fans would like to see disappear in future Tomb Raider titles. While the 2013 Tomb Raider game was, to many, a great start for the "Survivor" trilogy, the game's well-received story and characterizations couldn't make up for an overwhelming amount of quick-time events. By the time Shadow of the Tomb Raider rolled around in 2018, many player complaints about the initial game, such as the lack of side characters, had been fixed. Fans still pointed out the fact that Lara didn't feel like a fully realized Tomb Raider, though. This is not to say that Tomb Raider's "Suvivor" trilogy didn't show off sides of Lara Croft that fans hadn't seen before. Shadow of the Tomb Raider is touted as revealing some of Lara's darker side, and so there is potential for a new game to delve deeper into the character. With next to no news on the upcoming Tomb Raider game, though, fans will have to wait before they see if Lara's father will return again.

She never worked on real Lara Croft, only the Nu-Lara. Nu-Lara is kind of annoying... I wish they would go back to real Lara.. Core Lara..Badass Lara.. and have Dinosaurs again.

As far as I understand it that was just artwork released to celebrate 25 years of Tomb Raider, but hey... I will be very pleasantly surprised to be proven wrong if they actually do make a Tomb Raider game again featuring the real Lara Croft. Although at the back of my mind, I know Crystal Dynamics have now replaced Lara with their own character... they are just doing their own thing and will of course use nostalgia bait to market that new thing.

You could turn them knobby with tessellation, but knobby isn't exactly good for boobz either. 🙁 But wait, we got Nanite now! That should do the trick. 😀

It kind of annoys me when people think that was all the real Lara Croft was, just breasts..... It honestly just makes me think they don't know what they are talking about. Original Lara is just so cool, I even collected all the CORE comics, those were so good, now they made Lara into this.. like a wimpy cry baby that "hates tombs"..................... whoever wrote that line should be fired.

You are right, Toby Gard never conceived Lara and Tomb Raider for sex appeal. But that was not what Eidos and their marketing department thought. During the 90's and early 2000's, the marketing side of Eidos turned Lara into a pinup girl. They even featured her in a playboy magazine. I re-played the first few levels of the 1st Tomb Raider a few years ago, and I was amazed at how good the ambience of those tombs are. It still feels like we are exploring ruins that haven't been visited by other humans in centuries. Even with those old graphics, the game still oozes with mystery. And the gameplay is still fun. Controls are very precise and logic. There are a few traps that are a bit unfair, but on PC we can save anywhere. And that Lara kicked ass.
