Unreal engine 5 is taking over. My friend is hyped for Entropia Universe moving away also from Cryengine.

On one hand i'm happy, i like unreal and i work on unreal although this is very rapidly starting to converge into absurd tier monopoly where everything that isn't a lower end indie/mobile game on Unity immediately becomes UE project.
It's a good, convenient and competent engine and i like working in it but monopoly is never good.

I guess it's better than Unity but kinda over UE

Well my fav franchise ever is most likely going to stutter badly like most UE games, really hope ue5 fixes its shader cache/loading issues that have plagued it for many years

Maybe with the 5th iteration of the unreal engine they will finally figure out how to make it run properly of peoples PC's
I'm a comedian btw.

Many are confusing UE4 with UE5.

I'd say, people are being cautious.
Since UE4 has issues with stuttering, issues that have never been fully addressed.
Expecting stuttering in UE5 is not entirely surprising.

That news is a little disappointing.
IMO Crystal have been ahead of the curve when it comes to the best eye candy.
Perhaps its just down to optimisation problems they have with their engines..
Remember how Mankind Divided really struggled when enabling t00 many next gen bells and whistles.
Not really looking forward to a TR game with Unreal eyecandy.
What if it has the same skin as Destroy All Humans. 😕:p 🙄
Did any of you Lads manage to get your hands on this fan remake. using unreal 4.

it is pretty easy, just install "Tune-Up Utilities 2006, open it and click on "optimize and impreove" thats all, your system will be optimized 😎

Well, technically that disk eraser feature really fixes stutter (I think it was just meant as a joke, it worked for me at least).
