At this price I expect this chair to make me coffee in the morning, tell me how great and wise I am every hour and had with some chick attached somewhere that will jump to congratulate me whenever I make a killstreak in COD. Oh..I forgot...it should also convince my wife to let me play more videogames because they are good for the brain and my general well-being.

I'm wiling to spend for a nice chair, but I'm really not seeing where that money goes here. Besides that, my default position remains. Chairs with gaming logos/colors = instant "no".

Looks like a nice office chair and if it's a nice one, then price seems to be ok also. I have Kenson Anna chair at home which costs more than that Cougar. Mesh is good if you do not have AC at home.

Price is WAAAAAY to high. I just got a leather manager chair very very comfy for $150.00 on sale. I work from home and sit in this chair more than 12 hours a day!!!! Returned my gaming chair same day they are the most uncomfortable things to ever be made on this planet. You want comfy go with this: https://www.quill.com/quill-brand-mcallum-bonded-leather-manager-chair-gray-51474/cbs/54146931.html
There is a reason why those are usually cheap. I have experiences on about a similar looking chair. The part you sit on goes bad and it becomes hard. Hand rests are mostly useless as you cant not adjust those, leather is not that good quality and no support for the lower back. Not that great for office work. Still that one you got is likely better than a gaming chair, those are in general horrible.

While this particular model is way too overpriced, I cannot stress enough how good an investment a good ergonomic office ("gaming" themed or not) chair is in the long run. Both the lumbar and cervical pillows on my chair together with the adjustable hand rests have made my gaming, or rather said sitting sessions a LOT more bearable on my body. So yeah, even if prices are high, you can find cheaper alternatives and they really are worth it, if you care for your spine that is. And for a long time I did not and had the crappiest chair I could find. Couple that with being overweight and very little physically active and yeah... you got yourself a deadly combo. 🙄

Chairs are a tough purchase. I've bought so many that felt great to sit in at the store, only to realize they didn't work after an hour or two. My cheap active lumbar chair I got from a local warehouse store proved to be a much better fit for long work hours. My much more costly Steelcase Leap V2 was supposed to fill that spot, but ended up as my gaming room chair. I can get a couple of hours out of it before I need to get up and move around for a bit (which you should do anyways). Even highly adjustable chairs don't end up working for every body type. I'll find the perfect chair some day...

... every straight woman. Back to chairs: Remember that we as a species lived for hundreds of thousands of years doing work on two legs, hunting animals, feeding our young, etc., until very recently. Chairs are an abomination of modern day. Sitting many hours straight in a chair is simply asking to destroy your body. I know from experience... computer programmer. 😳
