Which finally makes COD really uninteresting for me. Caters to the battle royal trend to give up what always was the best part of COD games (for me), the action movie you could play through.

If there's anything of interest in a CoD game, it's the SP campaign and zombie mode. SP campaigns have been decent-ish throughout but if these news are true it's fare thee well!

hehe I guess it's a financial issue that the Black Ops teams are no longer funded properly so they have to pick up what the average joe keeps in his buildings before they can really wage war 😀

Call of Duty Games are known for their SP Story, and People don't like those game that need internet connection all the time, I prefer the game has only single player instead of Only Multiplayer.

Rip out the single player aspect and add in a Battle Royale aspect and join Fortnite and Pubg. Clever move maybe. We'll have to wait and see. While they are at it make it F2P and add in a billion cosmetic "upgrades" and creates.

Oh it's definitely a clever move, let's face it, most people buy CoD to play online and skip the 5h campaign altogether so switching it for the fotm battle royal game mode is indeed clever. Am I a fan? No, not at all, but no doubt with the right campaign behind it, it'll make them a LOT of money.

why should it? no one buys them for SP anymore, they buy it for MP, still think the franchise need to go on hiatus

People must be buying it for sp, million plus sales but practically no one plays the games online. Even ww2 (and I really liked the beta) peaked at around 35k and that was bo2 at its tail just before Ghosts launched.
