Higher hz is smoother. If you ran a monitor at 100+hz you would never go back to 60hz. I didnt believe that until I got my qnix 2710.

Ips but no 120 or 144 hz is instant fail for me, prefer 10 times a tn panel samsung s27a950d for example, then this 60 hz ips thing. What some already said u never want to go back to 60 hz if u used to 120 hz, in overal everything just feels smoother, and better image quality also somehow.

I usually can finish anywhere in the top 10 just fine with the game maxed out at 1440p 4xMSAA at 60hz Vsync. It's more about skill than fps over 60.

When I played BF4 , I was almost always in the top 3 and I've never touched a sniper rifle. If you want a properly quantifiable test. My laptimes are much better in rFactor2 when running 144fps vs 60fps. if you have over twice the information going to your brain per second, if you can handle it, you will be better/faster etc.

OK find me 1 IPS 27" whit 1440p and its above 60 hz (or any smlore ips realy) (screens who are overclocabel whit which you losing guaranty dosent counts) ther is good reson way asus have hes 144 hz screens whit TN panel (mainly cos TN can go above 60 hz easy and he whanted make fast monitor 1-2 ms GTG which IPS panels can't ) this is 1 of faster IPS screens and can be clasifad as gaming IPS screen hes GTG latency is 4 ms which is realy good for IPS screen (dont remember i see less but didnt look much) but even more important hes input latency is only 6 ms which is realy fast, sadly tehrs no 120hz + ips for sell (as i told ther are some korean mark's who can be overcloced to 90-130 hz (depends on models and as much i know you losing garanty on thos screens)) h t t p : / / w w w.tftcentral.co.uk/reviews/benq_gw2750hm. h t m delit space betwen letters for link
