there are 2 big differences with this XL2546 S model vs the previous non-S XL2546 model which I can't see being mentioned in the news post, the new and updated monitor has the newer generation "0.5ms" response time 240 hz TN panel from AU Optronics vs the older generation 1ms 240 hz panel, also from AU Optronics, as well as having Freesync Premium compatibility when its blur reduction (DyAc+) feature is disabled , something the older XL2546 does not support. The older XL2546 has DyAc but no Freesync. Benqs blur reduction tech called "DyAc" is also further refined and improved on this model so it now has the name "DyAc+". XL2746S is the 27" version of this panel and is already available for purchase, I expect the XL2546S to be available for purchase in the near future !
