@slick3 I am more than 30 y.o. I use PC since 90s perhaps I play longer lifetime than you do. So. I do not troll. It is neither dumb statement. I see humanity nowadays is tired and lazy. Why do you curse any negativity. These people want to play with their rules even if they are unfair/illegal. Ok. Why not beat them up to a pulp instead? It is like Pro Evolution Soccer for example half community bashes and curses idiot @sshole referee for being so useless. But you still can score many goals and beat CPU/AI even at the hardest settings. Stop making excuses then, really.
https://i.imgflip.com/dmps0.jpg Cheating scumbags are the reason I don't play with anyone I don't know personally. I loved LAN parties

So they openly admit that 5% of they player base are cheaters ruining the game for the remaining 95% of legit players. Unless someone will make an anti-cheat system that makes bans tied to hardware configuration all those cheater will just rebuy a game, make another fake account and they will continue troll.
Congrats! you just won the worst idea award!

This is why i stick to PvE Single Player or PvE Coop.

What do cheaters gain? If they get banned and have to buy the game again and again; they are losing financially.

1.5 million bans since November why do people still play this ??? how many millions aren't getting caught ???

And that's why I stopped buying competitive multiplayer games along time ago. I simply can't deal with the fact that I don't know if someone beat me because they had more skill, the game lagged or was a hack!
You can't just have fun playing a game? 😕. I don't give a crap about the context of how I got killed. That's like not playing football just because someone might use a deflated football without you knowing. Cheating in competitive sports has been around since ancient Roman times if not longer. People compete because competition itself is supposed to be fun.

With such lords, every war is lost. NoobLord... @Vibe: ur MILLION MILES from any point. Lost in the void, space, and time. But, if that pleases you, that's OK, enjoy your private ex nihilo, but better play single player (solo) games or multiplayers within private, dedicated, closed "rooms" (servers) where you will fight against people who share your attitudes...

warlord:

Weak gamers. Noobs without skills. Why everyone hates cheaters/hackers? It's your problem if you don't have what it takes to beat their @sses. Since the beginning of time there were bad people in multiplayer games. But, no one nobody never saw it as a challenge. That's my opinion and I don't take it back. Improve yourselves.
This is why some game die... hack = no progression on game = boring game. Don't forget that in each noob there is a future master of the game (alright on some, not necessary 🙂 ) But in each hack users there is looser mostly they think they are skilled... but without this hack they are less skilled than majority of the players. About PUBG: badly coded, not good play engine, ... if they have worked a bit more on the game maybe they would not get to this 1.5m banned account.

Either a bad troll or just a dumb statement. The point is it takes the legitimacy out of the 'competition'. With that said, I wouldn't go as far as to say I wouldn't buy ANY MP games because there are hackers in it. There are bound to be hackers in any video games, the best you can hope for is the anti-cheat does its job. I play MP games mainly - SC2, CS, Quake, Pubg, Division, Siege and more - at least 85% of all my games have been legit. Why would I sacrifice that for the 15% of games that have hackers in it?
I will get an infraction for this, but Warlord really is an idiot. After this, Im adding him to my ignore list. I hadnt yet due to the curiosity of reading all of the crap he spews out, but this is just pure crap.

They do not know what fun is. They only want to win. If they lose they are butthurt. I understand cheating is unfair sh1t but should I stop playing? No. I shall continue until I get bored. Gaming is gaming. As long as I do not lose money, It should be pure entertainment.

I don't play this game but I'm glad the developers are doing something to stop such cancer.

Valve should ban PUBG from Steam, but that's just me.

Tie accounts (STEAM, Origin...) to an unique ID (drive license, credit card, identity card, passport...) You get banned? No more new accounts for you. Also in countries where cheating is illegal, you could be easily identified too.

Depend on your country and local law... Demanding those info might be illegal in some country and so it is just based on mail address (as my account btw). Then it's much easy for creating alt account... good for some bad for other...

All this would do is create a market for people to steal and sell peoples identities...for video games.....do we really want that? no, no we don't.

I just wanted to say that I'm all in for this or anything that can potentially kill online cheating. The actual situation is just sad and having money involved in games just makes it worse. But again there is a big chance that some developers are developing cheats for their own games and earn more money out of selling cheats/banning players/reselling games. Its a win-win for them. AFAIK South Korea does something like that, you can get in trouble for cheating because you are linked to your health care ID or something like that.

Wouldn't stop a single, little, tiny thing. That's like saying, since banks require all this information, no one ever has their identity stolen, and banks hacked, and etc. etc. etc. etc. Stopping cheating is impossible. That doesn't mean there shouldn't be anti-cheat tools, like are used in this game, however, stop fooling yourself into thinking anything, literally anything, could ever actually stop cheating. Also:

Ofc ID can be stolen but if you get caught you will face bigger problems than just paying 15$ for a new copy of the game. And ofc you can stop cheating. Consoles have way less cheating than PC. Wonder why? Btw don't bother quoting me with another stupid meme pic, I wasn't disrespectful to you.
