I do like the whole series and I do expect the next... iteration to be equally good but I do NOT see any point in making such "teasers" as these - we do not get ABSOLUTELY no impression of the upcoming game. That ''propeller'' and those ''lights in a distance'' means...nothing. It could be the few seconds belonging to any game like BF3, Bioshock, Black Ops... These are not ''teasers'' at all - they do not ''tease'' you, they are purposeless and only leave you puzzled (who needs it, why, what can anybody learn by them in terms of what to expect...). Perhaps they are "puzzlers" - I would have understand that... Strange... Am I the only one perplexed here?

Besides, with beta still a relatively long way off - I'm not sure what they could show you. I'm sure you could snap up a few new customers of BF3 in the process...

Nice analogy. Not sure how the other guy got caught up by the word teaser. Either way, the goal is to give the impression of ''Gift unwrapping'' and to create hype for their product at a slow and calculated pace. It's marketting! For the game itself. I'm on the fence, sure I don't want to give my money to EA but I did play over 300 hours of BF3 before quitting. (and its BRAGGING TIME)

They are 20 second clips so there is no need to keep ones attention for such a sort amount of time. I would prefer the sound effects from the Transformers movie over Indy day. 🙂 They put a Google add in the last 20 second teaser, come on. Um! can we have LAN support this time around DICE? Ah! The good old days of LAN party's without needing an internet connection or web browser to play a MP game and mod support to.

Sniper scum bags, lol! Do you snipes get board of just laying around scratching your nut sacks? It suck when you are on a server of say 16 people squad death match and there are 10 sniper classes being played. Ruins the game and slows it down about 20 notches.

They don't give a game long enough these days to become great. Spit a game out, polish it for a few months then move on to the next. BF1942/DCF on a modern engine would indeed be epic. I'd give my money to EA for that one. Gettin so bored now of modern day shooters. That's why right now i'm playing the amazingly good f2p, War Thunder Please go check it out. It really is a fun game and very well done. I made a post in the games section on War Thunder if you wanna go check it out
