BF 2 was even worse than BF 4, but ended up in one of the best clan teamplay game ever (in my opinion, because <3 BF games)
I am confused...are you saying they should never learn from previous mistakes and always release broken games, and as consumers we should be happy to take it like that? Comments like this is why games come out the way it is. As for the trailer....i think the like/dislike bar shows what the community is thinking.

i'll just stick my seldom-posting neck out and go on a limb here hoping they've fixed that stuttering issue that was going on in the beta on PC (especially once it was found out that dual CCD ryzen's were forced to deactivate half their cores for a more consistant framerate)... that *would* make for a horrible release or even worse a sign of things to come with the latest addition of hastily released games, but lets hope it won't come to that...

If you don't like it, don't buy it 🙂
Seriously dude, that's such a childish response. You indeed really lack Convictions and values. This is why people say capitalism sucks because you can sell a dog shit product and get away with it. As much as I hate government regulation, something needs to be done about These software companies are selling software that isn't finished.

nizzen is just joking by using the classic comment of "If you don't like it, don't buy it" which is in reference to Patrick Soderlund of DICE / EA telling Battlefield fans exactly that in regards to Battlefield V..... a lot of people took him up on that offer, then Patrick Soderlund left EA. Ah ok. Well, the funny thing is that because of him saying that and adding the cod like time to kill my friends, and I didn't buy it until it was $20, then uninstall it. It was the worst BF of all time and the cheating hahaha was so bad.

WOW ray tracing but no one will use it due to low framerate. Maybe on next Nvidia/AMD cards and I think they designed it that way.

Is it just me, or they couldn't even maintain 30 FPS to film the trailer? And no, I'm not talking about the 24FPS movie like movement, cuz in some shots it seems even lower for some reason. Wondering if they used only a stock 3090 or what
Yes no wonder the trailer is only 1080p. Can't maintain proper framerate. I though I'm the only one noticing the low framerate. I guess this battlefield in some way doesn't really feel like a true battlefield game to me but hey let's see when the game launches.

Maybe we are getting too old for this shit 😀
I think this is the issue. Appealing to both the old timers and young newbies is the holy grail for all long time franchises. Put enough new trendy stuff in to grab young people, and keep enough of the classic stuff to entice older customers back with nostalgia. We want to love Battlefied games but maybe they have moved on and we have become 'stuck in our ways' (a phrase I used to tease my grandad with constantly when I was younger).

There is nothing to love; this isn't a battlefield game, all the old devs have quit, and all they have now is a bunch of hipsters with no values that are trying to climb to the top by cutting all the corners and cloning call of duty. The specialist will be there to sell skins, and that's it. At one stage, that had the best engine with the "Levolutions "stuff in it, and it was a good sign of progression in the video games. Then with BF1, they went back to a boring static map/design with everything pretty much staying the same. We have such fantastic technology in our home computers, but the video games remain the fucking same.

This is sick. Shooting people in games should be banned forever. Producing crap like this proves disgusting degeneracy of humankind.

Interesting that you can't differentiate reality from videogames. Something that almost everyone in the planet can do, because it's so simple.

Levolution in BF4 was and still is cool. My young lad (11) only ever wants to play BF4... his favorite map is Siege of Shanghai because he loves attacking tower with helicopter, and recently I have tried to get him to look at other maps he never saw before - showed him Parasol Storm and he was amazed at the great storm and sea effects and loved it when the ship crashed into the island. I sort of felt the newer games were a complete waste of time because unlike BF4 and previous where you were playing to get better gadgets and upgrades and guns... it seems to me all you get in the newer games is just the same gun and different irrelevant skins... same with vehicles. It's all about selling stupid skins these days because that's where the money is.

I once repeatedly crouched up and down over a slain players head after shooting him in the back.... I then typed in chat "tell me how my nuts tasted"... the player then typed in "lol" in response, he then respawned and flew a helicopter into my head. Such is the degenerate life of a gamer.
